Yes, too soon for this year, because all of April is already scheduled. The central discussion for the date question is on KJP1. Also, I prefer birthdays. I like Britten's music, see A Boy was Born, written on the composer's centenary. Wikipedia's MoS writes the title differently, sigh. I saw your article on A Tour of the White House with Mrs. John F. Kennedy. Great job. It cries out for a video, though. I've put in 2 clips from YouTube. Of course they have to be from acceptable reliable sources. These were posted by CBS and the JFK Library. I'd like to put an image in the external video box, so that it looks like it is presenting a video, but can't find the proper image. Also, do you have info on the copyright status, e.g. was it copyrighted by CBS in 1962, was it renewed in 1976(?)?

As CBS/NBC/ABC own the copyright, the show will not enter into the public domain until after we are long gone. As it currently stands, that will be 2057. Every 20 or so years, Congress keeps lengthening the time works are under copyright because of Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse enters into the public domain in 2023, so expect Congress to change the laws before then. Bgwhite (talk) 20:12, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

  • Okay, give me time and I'll find a source. The template (which I had nothing to do with making) has a "religion" field for a reason. A person's religion may not be a "defining characteristic" but can (sometimes partially) explain what informs his world-view. Nothing uniquely Hindu about that - Bush held Evangelical Christian views which influenced him, Erdogan (in Turkey) is influenced by his Muslim faith (or at least his own interpretation thereof). Not a defining characteristic, but relevant. BTW, last time I looked at Bush's page, the infobox listed him as "Methodist." Why? After all, it's not a defining characteristic, is it? Anyway, if Gounder is removed from the Hindu cat, so must every other politician listed there. If you go on such a deletion spree, you won't have me to deal with, you'll have a whole lot of editors who won't be happy about that kind of mucking around. Not something to squabble over - I'll look for sources, I promise. (I've been mostly absent from Wikipedia for about 8 years and find a lot of loose ends to attend to on returning, so please give me a bit of time).     • It's presently uncited, so he cannot be categorized as such. As regards Bush and Erdogan, both have made prodigious references to their faith on numerous occasions. In February I had a similar discussion which I found helpful. Thank you for returning to Wikipedia!. Hi, I have reverted this edit for three reasons. First, in the award "OBE", the letter "O" stands for "Officer", not "Order" - this is a common misconception. Second, there was no need to "repair" a link to a redirect that was WP:NOTBROKEN. A link like OBE is piped through a redirect because if you hover over that link, it shows the full title; and when you click on it, you get the "(Redirected from Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire)" message at the top of the page. Third, there is no consensus for the alphabetic sorting of categories, see Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)/Archive 114#Create a BOT to alphabetize and organize categories automatically. --Redrose64 (talk) 08:08, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Geographically the gardens are almost indistinguishable, and I fear a lack of content for the Fontvieille Park if they are separated. The two spaces are frequently described together in references, and I have taken my lead for the creation of many of my Monaco articles from official Monaco governmental websites. The article Archibald Blane has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No explanation of why he belongs in an encylopedia. He existed, he had a senior role in a company, and that company put up a plaque commemorating him after he died. I don't think that justifies an article.

Hi there, I guess I owe you an explanation for reversing your inclusion in the above article. It seemed to me that mere mention in the song you cite (in one of my favorite movies) falls short of WP:IPC guidance, in particular that "passing mentions in books, television or film dialogue, or song lyrics, should be included only when that mention's significance is itself demonstrated with secondary sources". The source you give merely quotes the lyrics and does not discuss the significance of the mention. In fact "Circe" only acts as an (admittedly brilliant) rhyme for "controversy"; in addition it has no particular connection with the story of the goddess, which is the subject of the article. That the lyrics are by Cole Porter is not significant in itself. The question that needs answering is how far our knowledge of the story of Circe and its interpretation is advanced by the song, and that needs to be backed by a secondary source. The one you provide only speculates that such a song addressed to a 12-year-old approaches the scandalous. Again, description of her as "my Circe" is functional rather than direct; it has no more significance to the subject of the goddess than describing a woman as "a Messalina" has to the story of the empress of that name. By all means transfer this discussion to the article's talk page, if you wish, to see what others think. Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 09:08, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

I reverted your change at Audrey Hepburn. The Academy's site gives the following: "1992 (65th) * JEAN HERSHOLT HUMANITARIAN AWARD -- [statuette] [NOTE: The Academy's Board of Governors voted to confer this award on January 12, 1993. Ms. Hepburn passed away on January 20th, and the award was accepted on her behalf by her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer.]"

And I think that the parent category should be Category:Churches completed in 1999 not Category:Religious buildings completed in 1999 with Roman Catholic churches completed by year as a subcategory of Churches completed by year. Response much appreciated, thanks. Well, I'm trying to retain as much of your text as possible. There's a lot of good stuff in there which simply needs sourcing and updating in with the other material. That's why I abandoned the sandbox idea and thought it best to just run with what we have. The article is going to get massive in the next few weeks though to make it comprehensive as possible, but it'll be split and condensed later. I really do need your help if possible though on tracing the source of the unsourced material. I'm looking forward to it! Red Skelton could serve as a model, a brilliant page on a contemporaneous life, Elvis Presley is also a good musical biographical model. I was one of the contributors of the Skelton article, though We hope, who has sadly departed, wrote most of it. In discussing Sinatra we agreed that it was best to cover Sinatra in a similar fashion, keeping film career separate.
