Request reason:
A few weeks ago, on 12th Sep 2022, my Wikipedia account Nithesh Gaikwad was blocked. The reason stated by the moderator Bbb23 was <"Account is being used only for advertising or promotion">. I am writing today to request for unblocking of my account Nithesh gaikwad. Please note that I am an employee of KPIT. As per Wikipedia guidelines, I qualify as a paid editor, which I failed to declare before making the edits or creating new content. The intention was not to compromise the content quality or integrity of the platform but was only to make edits to reflect current information pertaining to the latest happenings in our organization, hence ensuring accurate information is available for people to refer to. I understand that the updates/changes in the content I had made may not have adhered to Wikipedia’s guidelines. But I have utilized time since unblocking of my account to understand the guidelines and processes better. I am more aware now and intend to make a meaningful contribution to Wikipedia. I would like to kindly request for unblocking of my account and allow me to continue making contributions to Wikipedia. I have thoroughly read through most of Wikipedia’s guidelines and will ensure that all edits/update requests I make are valid and adhere to the guidelines. Currently, as a paid editor for KPIT, my responsibility is to make edits to KPIT and Ravi Pandit’s pages and to create a new page for Kishor Patil <Co-founder and CEO of KPIT Technologies> to ensure information is true and accurate on the public platform. Since you indicate you will continue the activites for which you were blocked, there are no grounds to remove the block. Before being permitted to indirectly contribute in the area of your conflict of interest, you will need to build an edit history that demonstrates your understanding of content policies and guidelines by (after you make the required paid disclosure) editing in areas unrelated to your COI. Otherwise, allowing you to immediately make COI contributions would likely be a waste of time for everyone(including you). Be aware that our main purpose is not "true" information, but information that can be verified, see WP:TRUTH- we summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say about a topic, not what it wants to say about itself.
