Zack and Cody

edit

Hi! I talked to the fellow who posted the article once before; his info was a direct C&P from tv.com. He agreed to paraphrase the episode summary in his own words and, if he chose, to add a link to tv.com's entry. - Lucky 6.9 10:02, 14 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Smallville pic

edit

Please don't revert pictures that contain copyrighted information. You cannot display the "Kryptonsite" logo on a picture without their permission. It was cropped for a reason. Bignole 03:31, 4 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

The picture is not their exclusive property. The picture can be found on most Smallville websites, and can be used in articles by magazines. These are stills from the episode, not a copyrighted image created by Kryptonsite. Kryptonsite receives these images from outside sources, most of whom steal them from other sites. The copyrighted image is the Kryptonsite logo, not the picture. What we do not have permission for is their logo, not the picture. Once their logo is gone it is no longer considered "their" picture. The simple fact that it came from them doesn't mean anything. Check real copyright laws and how to avoid fracturing them. This is also why we have a "licensing" section when you upload a photo. If this was an image created by that website then you have to acknowledge that in the license section. This is not. This is a screenshot from a TV show, which is a selection in the licensing section. The problem is that when you have a screenshot you cannot show another sites logo without their permission. So, the problem becomes the logo, not the screenshot. The screenshot is fair game, as long as their copyrighted logo is not on it. Why is it that I can go to any Smallville site and see the same pictures? One of them must be stealing from the other sites. It's cause the screenshots are not copyrighted. Bignole 14:33, 4 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also, see Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags and check under "Screenshots of public-domain programs" in their content box. This question involves a game, but, it works under the same principles. A screenshot is taken from a game (tv show) that was created by someone else. The screenshot then becomes a "fair use" product because it is just a screenshot. Since there is no way of saying who actually took the screenshot, and that the screenshot has the ability to be take by anyone that can get ahold of the episode, it is not the exclusive property of kryptonsite, thus, the screenshot is not copyrighted only the logo. List of TSR Episodes

edit

Well, that's what the pages are for. You know. Put an [[]] on the episode titles and it will create a page for it. Just like all the others that have pages. Tcatron565 8:29pm central 2/20/06

Drake and Josh episodes

edit

Nights Not End, we've been editing on the List of Drake and Josh episodes, and we haven't talked yet. Anyways, couple things, there is a feature film acording to IMDB, which is going to be starring Drake Bell, Josh Peck, and Drake and Josh, Miranda Cosgrove, as Megan etc. Do you think we should merge all the episodes into one big article for each season? Thanks. ForestH2

Do we delete Treehouse. It was nominated for deletion then redirect to the List of Drake and Josh episodes. What do we do? ForestH2

Need help please

edit

On the infobox for Season 1 Drake and Josh episodes I'd rather not play around with it but could you delete all of the names of the episodes. There's no point in having them due to redirects. For example, below the infobox in Season 1 episodes for Drake & Josh. Hope your doing well. ForestH2 | + | √+ | | √- | - 21:58, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Zoey101s2cast.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 19:32, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mushroomheadm3.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Mushroomheadm3.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:41, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
