DYK for WWJ-TV edit

On 12 April 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article WWJ-TV, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that when WGPR-TV in Detroit was converted from a station serving Black and ethnic audiences to a CBS affiliate, it experienced ratings increases of 11,000 percent? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/WWJ-TV. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, WWJ-TV), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

WKSU edit

Nathan, you and me have been doing business a long time, and you're my guy. I don't want this disagreement over WKSU to affect that.

I just want to tell you where I'm coming from. When Ideastream took it over, it was clearly with the intent to establish it as a Cleveland station, and as Cleveland's NPR home. Obviously it covers Akron too, but now in more of a "going along for the ride" kind of way, instead of the main focus.

I know about the COL (Kent) and transmitter (Copley), but in the grand scheme of things, that's window dressing.

I'm not gonna go to war over this, as it's not that big of a deal, just wanted to explain the method to my madness.

And as a peace offering, and token of good will, I want to show you this...[1]...I saw it and the first thing to pop in my head was you. I thought it was cute, and I think you'll get a kick out of it too.
