You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Recent edit reversion

edit

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. ~~~~ S Philbrick(Talk) 20:51, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

There is no copyright violation. You most likely made a mistake Name905 (talk) 20:56, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am very sorry for violating the copyright rule of Wikipedia. After getting blocked, I read the rules of Wikipedia thoroughly. Now that i realise my mistake, I can assure you I will not make this mistake again. Please unblock me so i can continue editing and contributing in Wikipedia. Name905 (talk) 20:57, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

We need to know that you have understood why you are blocked so you won't repeat that behavior: What is copyright? Why can't you paste arbitrary text into Wikipedia? How will you avoid creating copyright problems? A response is required to the above paid editing queries too. MER-C 08:13, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
