Sourcing edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article wine and food matching, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 17:20, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.

If you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may place {{unblock}} on your user talk page to have the block reviewed. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information.  Sandstein  22:02, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am requesting to be unblocked because an honest mistake has been made. Before receiving the warning, I was in the middle of changing my post to reflect a more neutral standpoint and take out the link as I realized it could look like spam. I am new here and did not realize the link I clicked on was a newer version with my content already removed. I received both the warning and the block at the same time, which left me no chance to heed the warning. I did not join to post spam or advertising materials and believe I have valuable contributions to make based on notable sources.

Decline reason:

Sorry, that's clearly a promotional link and a non-WP:RS. Your username indicates a probable conflict of interest as well. I see you were clearly warned for this same edit a week ago; why did you ignore that warning? Kuru (talk) 23:14, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Spam Links edit

Ohnoitsjamie- First, why did you bother to warn me when you blocked me before I had even seen the warning? I was attempting to fix the page you warned me about before I even saw the warning. I would have been more than happy to abide by the warning and not add links while I learned more about editing. You may have noticed I only joined a few weeks ago. Second, why block me for citing a reputable site that is also referenced here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bookbinding? There is information on this site that is verifiable but not commonly written about. Mybindingwriter (talk) 17:51, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
