Beequeen edit

Hi Muteelation,

I have done a bit of formatting to the Beequeen draft. Take a look and see what you think. Pretty much all I've done for now is add an infobox, create some sections from what you had already written, and move some of the text around. I also removed the external links in the lead paragraph (not allowed) and added a reference for the name coming from Joseph Beuys.

The thing to do now is take the reviews you have found and create a chronological history of the band, summarising what they say. The Herbal International and I Heart Noise reviews should be avoided as they are blogs, but the rest look good. The collection of reviews from their own website can be used if you can find the original publication details and cite them to where they are from rather than to the band's own website.

I'm not going to do any more work on it today but will take another look tomorrow. There's no question that they are notable, so we will get this article live! Cheers, Turner Street (talk) 20:51, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Turner Street: Wow, you made great progress with this, your experience with editing Wiki's really shows! I went through and pulled out quotes from the reviews at the bottom and incorporated them throughout the article. I avoided the 2 blogs. I hope this is what you were thinking. I researched how to handle quotes in Wikipedia and hope I did this in an acceptable manner. I highly appreciate the work you did, and if you have time to ensure that I 'told the story' as you requested in the proper manner.

Since it sounds like you enjoy obscure music, I recommend a quick listen to the first track from The Bodyshop https://beequeen.bandcamp.com/album/the-bodyshop and just for fun, The Maypole Song from Sandancing https://beequeen.bandcamp.com/album/sandancing - I think of this more as a Brunnen song as it shows the fun side that Freek brings to the band with the lyrics.

With my sincere thanks - Muteelation (talk) 3:24, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

Sorry I haven't been back to do any more work on the draft since Thursday - I will get back to it over the next few days. The stuff you have done is exactly what is needed - feel free to create more sections or change the headings if you like! Thanks Turner Street (talk) 14:54, 21 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
