Disambiguation link notification for December 29
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tyler Hansbrough, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBA. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:09, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Eagles247. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Larry Fitzgerald, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:45, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Chan Gailey, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:09, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Maurkice Pouncey, you may be blocked from editing. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:05, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Bill O'Brien (American football). Eagles 24/7 (C) 18:59, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

The article Tom Hankins has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ... discospinster talk 17:07, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Reece Horn. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. Tom Hankins moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Tom Hankins, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. editHello Mrcreator2020! Your additions to Jalen Morton have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:57, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
Nomination of Tom Hankins for deletion
editThe article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tom Hankins until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
March 2021
editPlease do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Tom Hankins. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Yosemiter (talk) 20:35, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
Hello, I'm AllegedlyHuman. Your recent edit to the page Blake Griffin appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AllegedlyHuman (talk) 22:38, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Blake Griffin. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Source says "agreed to a deal", which is not the same as "signed" that you wrote. —Bagumba (talk) 04:25, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

editPlease do not change Kenny Golladay's team to the New York Giants until an official announcement is made. You cited giants.com, but the problem is that you tweaked the title, which in itself is not allowed on wikipedia. The title says the giants REPORTEDLY agreed to terms with Kenny Golladay. Teams announcing "reportedly" is NOT an official announcement from the team. I hope this helps clear things up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SteelerFan1933 (talk • contribs) 22:03, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Doc Strange. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on DMX (rapper), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Doc StrangeMailboxLogbook 03:31, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
