December 2020 edit

  Hello, I'm CLCStudent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been disallowed by an edit filter because they did not appear constructive. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Additionally, if you believe this was an edit filter false positive, please report it here. Also, feel free to ask for assistance at the Teahouse whenever you like. Thank you. I need you to delete the wikipedia page for elham emami

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Elham Emami. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Elham Emami was changed by Montrealediting (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.92549 on 2020-12-15T18:41:03+00:00

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 18:41, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Elham Emami, you may be blocked from editing. Xstoe (talk) 18:42, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

The information you have put for my mother is wrong and violating her privacy please delete her page.

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Montrealediting. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Ifnord (talk) 19:01, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

December 2020 edit

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:10, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not making threats, I just want help for deleting a page which contains wrong information

Decline reason:

As per below, very specific and clear legal threat. Once the legal action is complete or if you unconditionally withdraw the legal threat, you will then need to describe how you would adhere to WP:COI going forward. WP:GAB explains how to write an unblock request. Yamla (talk) 19:29, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Special:Diff/994435746 is threatening and disruptive enough to justify a block. This is not merely asking for help, it is trying to extort administrative (or at least editorial) action by fear. We do not tolerate such behavior in this community. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:15, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
"You don't have her consent to do so and wants us to let you know that you need to delete it otherwise Mcgill university will pursue legal actions." kinda looks like a legal threat. We are more than happy to remove incorrect information, but your mother can't demand deletion of a factual article about her. Freedom of speech and all that. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 19:29, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I cleaned up Elham Emami. If there is still wrong information, please provide us with a detailed report on the inaccuracies. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 20:33, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
