Vandaism of Oldbury Grammar wiki page

edit

Hi Xstoe,

The wiki page of Langley High School (UK)/ Oldbury Grammar was vandalised by Bleaney who inserted erroneous content about a new school developed on the site by a private Academy (Q3) Academy. This organisation is in NO WAY associated with the previous schools.

I attempted to remove the edits - but you have restored them.

Please revert the content to that which appeared prior to Bleaney's input.

Thank you in anticipation — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a02:c7f:92c1:f700:606f:6b7c:8ce1:f287 (talkcontribs)

I don't know anything about that subject myself and won't be checking any more exactly right now, I reverted an edit made by an IP on Q3 Academy Langley because that edit, as well as your most recent edit there, don't really appear constructive as you have half-removed the definition as well as removed the reflist and inserted some random letters to the introduction. You should probably discuss about it with the user you think has added erroneous information, and you can also ask for assistance at the Teahouse. --Xstoe (talk) 21:17, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Recent Revert of Yours

edit

Hi, Xstoe - you have been doing a good job reverting edits! However, I would like to comment on this specific revert you made which you tagged as Vandalism. This edit was actually not vandalism, but a test edit. As you may know, RedWarn has the capability to give multiple different types of edit summaries - and one of them includes "Quick Rollback Test Edit". If you have an questions please respond back. Thanks! P,TO 19104 (talk) (contribs) 17:44, 31 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
