Edits to Denonychus edit

It appears that you are getting into an edit war at Deinonychus. Please discuss the issue at Talk:Deinonychus to try to reach a consensus on the image captions in question. Further reversions could lead to you being blocked for edit warring. - Donald Albury 13:49, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Writing articles edit

Hi, you seem to have an eye for detail, have you ever considered writing articles here? If you ever feel like trying, I'd be happy to help out. FunkMonk (talk) 11:29, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have thought of writing some articles, but I don't think my grammar is all that good & I don't have access to my computer or tablet at the moment (Making huge edits on my phone is a painful enough experience). Monsieur X (talk) 11:44, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Maybe if you are interested in the future and get a computer! Grammar and such isn't a big problem, I always request copy edits for articles I write, which usually fixes any errors (as English is not my native language). FunkMonk (talk) 12:17, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Lisovicia at pl:wiki edit

Do not change illustrations of Lisovicia article at Polish Wikipedia. This decision was not made by the Polish Wiki paleontological project. Don't push your point of view. Greetings, Jacek555 (talk) 17:51, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

My view? That's basically the current scientific interpretation of the animal. That's like having a tail-dragging sauropod or a featherless dromaeosaur as the main image. Now if it was an additional image showing how the interpretation of the animal has changed, then I would be fine with it. But it shouldn't be the main image. Plus, Dmitry's art was done way many years ago, when the fossil wasn't fully described yet and had no name. He's probably has redrawn it since then. Requesting page protection edit

Hi there Monsieur X! You may have noticed that I reverted your addition of the {{edit semi-protected}} template from Talk:De-extinction. That template is intended for a user to request an edit on a page that's already semi-protected, which that article isn't. I think you were trying to request that the article be semi-protected. If so, the correct way to do it is to make a request at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. If you need any help with making the request or you have any other questions, feel free to let me know! ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 23:36, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for that. Asking for protection has always been a confusing mess for me. Monsieur X (talk) 23:55, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
