Hello, I'm BilCat. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Germanic languages seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 23:19, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Original research

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Prolog (talk) 16:54, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2023

edit

Hello, Mistystar I, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Asdasd123qwerty (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Mz7 (talk) 06:54, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Attempting to create salted articles

edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you attempt to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:04, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm not obliged to listen to you. I've found reliable sources and I'm therefore going to create that article. It's not going to cause harm to you or Wikipedia. You're being too strict. Mistystar I (talk) 21:09, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
You will be blocked if you continue. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:10, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
No, that's not how it works. The article will be created. I don't care about what you have to say. If not me, I'll tell someone else to create it. You're not the only one whose opinion matters here. Mistystar I (talk) 21:12, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for creating and using this account despite there being IP blocks in place to prevent your from editing. This is block evasion and is not permitted. In addition to the evasion, you've demonstrated an inability to edit collaboratively above; this will also need to be addressed if you will be appealing the block.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ponyobons mots 21:25, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
