Vatican City / Freedom
editHello--Where did the rating of Vatican City come from in List of indices of freedom? I wasn't able to find it. Cretog8 (talk) 15:52, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- I meant, what was your source for it? Cretog8 (talk) 17:13, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I'll remove the stuff on Vatican City, then. The stuff in that article is supposed to come from existing indices of freedom, rather than our observations. How about your other recent edits? Were those from indices, or from you?Cretog8 (talk) 17:36, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
RE:I have a question sir.
editHave we developed the technology to make a new eye for someone thats blind of lost an eye, have you developed an eye thats like a perfect eye like the one your born with, that can see in 20/20 or less or better and in color? Mickman1234 (talk) 07:05, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Currently, the research is under progress to give some vision back to patients with defects in individual parts of the eye. However at this time, a "Bionic implantable eye", "starting from scratch - the one we are born with" is not commercially available. That said, many patients with different conditions can definitely be helped, depending on the individual problem. If you have such a patient, please do contact a qualified eye specialist for possible options. EyeMD T|C 17:49, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Sure, I can do: which ones do you know need updating? Alternatively, you can update them yourself - but please provide references. Mike Peel (talk) 10:49, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
I have a question sir about the XB-70 Valkriye
edit(Moved from User talk:Fnlayson)
Do you belive that they should bring it back into developement, i mean why did they have a slower B-52 into service and that aircraft only goes 650 mph and the XB-70 Valkriye goes 2,056 mph, and a high speed bomber would be great to have in service, do you aggre? And the plane could be modified a bit like v-wings in the back and a non-hexagontal wing design and a better type of engine. So im just wondering do you aggre? Mickman1234 (talk) 09:48, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- The B-70 had Mach 3 speed at only high altitude and subsonic speed at low altitude. It's too risky for a bomber or other aircraft to fly high like that and invade enemy territory. A future bomber (USAF 2037 Bomber maybe) will probably be more like a stealthy B-1A; Mach 2 speed at high altitude / Mach ~1 at low altitude with stealth characteristics. That's what I think anyway... -Fnlayson (talk) 14:40, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Companhia Espacial Portuguesa
editA tag has been placed on Companhia Espacial Portuguesa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

The article 2014 in spaceflight has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A little too premature
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shadowjams (talk) 07:28, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

- We asked you not to create these articles for more than two years ahead of time, and 2011 in spaceflight and 2012 in spaceflight already exist. -MBK004 05:23, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- I can't delete them now, they are at a deletion process now. As to your non-knowledge, we let you know at Talk:2014 in spaceflight. As to wanting to learn, you need to closely look at WP:TLS. -MBK004 05:30, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- Absolutely, your userspace is free for experimentation. What plenty of users do is create their own "sandbox" for them to be able to do things without messing up their own userpage. Here is a redlink to one for you to create: User:Mickman1234/Sandbox -MBK004 05:50, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- (popping in here) - yes, I use a sandbox as well, mainly to store text I wrote and don't need or stuff I haven't finished yet. See User:The_ed17/Sandbox. :) Kind regards, —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 05:52, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of 2014 in spaceflight
editAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is 2014 in spaceflight. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2014 in spaceflight. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:09, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

1974 in spaceflight
editPlease stop adding flags to the TLS articles that are still in the old style. It is poor form to be blending the two formats together. Not to mention that you are getting their positioning incorrect. I plan on converting the rest over the next month. Please let those who know what they are doing take care of them so it is done quickly. -MBK004 06:07, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- There is no need for you to apologize. You made an error, but you did not know not to. You do now. Keep learning, and one day you will know how to do things, and if you have questions, do not hesitate to ask. -MBK004 07:12, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Ill Payne has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Eeekster (talk) 04:05, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
