There are a few issues. First, the tag at the top of this page is because it appears that you are the same person as user:Premier Cruises. If this is the case, you should be aware that using a "sockpuppet" in order to still edit after one account has been blocked is highly discouraged, and can result in further blocks. It would be in your best interest to go to the page Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Premier Cruises to respond. If you are a different user, just explain that fact. If you are the same user, the safest route is to usually admit not being aware that it was a WP policy, and to voluntarily state which account you wish to abandon.
For the article content - the two main issues are that the text you are removing has refs providing citations to back up the text, while your text does not ... as well as your text using promotional wording that is not presented from a neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV). Remember, as an encyclopedia, you just need the facts; unless you have a reliable source using that wording to back it up, you should try to avoid phrasing such as "pioneering", "superior quality", etc. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 19:35, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Premier Cruise Line appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:23, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Premier Cruise Line. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:49, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Premier Cruise Line. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Your reverts are the following: [1], [2], and [3]. MuZemike 21:27, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Draft articles

edit

You can create draft versions of articles in your own user space, such as at user:Miami33131/Premier Cruises, which is a sub-page of your own user page. From there, you could request others to help review it before moving it over to the main article space. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 22:13, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

FYI: To help get input on the draft, you could post a link to your draft and a comment about it at WT:SHIPS. That's the talk-page of a Wikiproject whose members are focused on improving coverage of topics related to ships. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:21, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh, another location you can post with a request for feedback on your draft is at Wikipedia:Requests for feedback. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 19:00, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have had it on user:Miami33131/Premier Cruisesfor a day now and nobody has commented. When can i move it onto a main page? I would like the name page to called Premier Cruises?Miami33131 (talk) 22:30, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please see my posts above, which have links to locations where you can post to request that others review it. Also, before moving it to the main article namespace, I highly recommend finding some reliable sources that can be used to cite some of the content. Without references, articles are often tagged as original research or their notability disputed. When posting to those locations, be sure to link to your draft, a link to where you would like to post it, and it wouldn't hurt to explain it's the article for the parent company of the article to which Premier Cruises currently redirects. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 23:39, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have added a number of references to the narative and also pointed a link to Premier Cruise Line as you suggested. Can I publish the article under Premier Cruises now?Miami33131 (talk) 02:03, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's not my call ... I'm just making suggestions - technically you could have added it to the live area earlier, it just would've been at a higher risk for removal before it had the references added. I've also added some comments to the talk page at User talk:Miami33131/Premier Cruises. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 04:46, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I cant figure out how to load the article to Premier Cruises. Can you help? I would also like to add a coupple of pictures of their ships but can figure out how to do it?Miami33131 (talk) 17:55, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Currently, there's already a redirect page at the location where you want to move the article. So, the first step is to eliminate that redirect. To do that, go to the page Premier Cruises and add at the top of the page {{db-move|User:Miami33131/Premier Cruises|reason for move}} ... being sure insert the reason for the move request where the text "reason for move" currently shows.
To add images ... first, be certain that the image is either public domain, or that it has been released under a copyright license that's compatible with use on Wikipedia. You then will need to upload the image to Wikipedia or to the Commons. Once there, the image can be added to the article. More on images can be found at Help:Files, as well at Wikipedia:Images and Wikipedia:Image use policy. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:11, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I did that but received some sort of error message - I hope what i did is sufficient for the article to move? I will have to add images later.Miami33131 (talk) 19:01, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

There was some sort of edit filter that was triggered - I went ahead and completed the edit for you, so the tag now shows at Premier Cruises ... just need to wait for an administrator to come along and delete the current page there and make the article move. Could take minutes or hours, depends on availability (administrators are volunteers too). --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 19:15, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been very generous with your time and advise. Thank you very much.Miami33131 (talk) 20:10, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
