July 2023 edit

  Hello, I'm Schminnte. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to The Platform (radio station) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Hi Schminnte.
Could you please give a valid reason for calling the The Platform anti-vaccinationist as on many occasions they have debunked the anti vax movement. Could you also justify calling The Platform 'right-wing' when according to a Curia Market Research April Public Poll (n=1000): 'The Platform had the highest neutral score with 48% of respondents rating them as such.' You also said The Platform gave priority to white female talkback callers. This is wrong, he gave priority to all female talkback callers not just pākehā ones. My contributions to The Platform (radio station) have been constructive as I have been correcting false information. You seem to want to discredit The Platform by stating false information. In future please only state the truth and don't write misinformation. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox.
thanks

Edit warring notice edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Platform (radio station). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Adakiko (talk) 09:51, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi McGregorNZ, I think that it is best that we discuss this disagreement regarding The Platform's editorial standpoint stance on vaccines at Talk:The Platform (radio station). Edit warring is not a good way to establish yourself on Wikipedia. I have lodged a protection request at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection/Increase, which means that an Administrator might temporarily lock the page to editing. Please calm down and take the opportunity to talk through these differences with us. Thanks and hope to hear from you. Andykatib 11:34, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

October 2023 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring, as you did at The Platform (radio station). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 12:38, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
