How much do you REALLY know about Aylesford?

I was wondering, because you were being so rude and mouthy about my edits to Aylesford, how much do you REALLY know about the village? You claim that this is a large village. It is definately NOT! It is only a small group of houses and shops to the side of the Medway! You also claim that the bridge and church isn't called 'The View'. It is known by this name to people all over the world and is very famous. Wheather it's a painting or photo, it's 'The View'.

BTW, I was born in Aylesford, my Mum was born in Aylesford, both her parents were born in Aylesford, all four of their parents were born in Aylesford and it carries on until the 17th century. I have been researching Aylesford with my Mum for years and we have even had a walk around the village with her telling me houses she used to live in, what the old shops were and loads more. She even showed me where she was born, right above South View, formerly a Co-operative shop. And in reply to your last message to me, my Mum was married by Arthur Heathcote and actually used to live in Heathcote Close. I also have Half a Sixpence on cassette upstairs. --82.34.173.149 (talk) 11:59, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

A Thought

It's actually quite creepy to think that you live just down the road!

L&B Railway Station

Dear Lynbarn

Please can I request your help?

My name is Paul Spiring and I have written five books about Devon. I am currently writing a sixth book and would like to ascertain the precise modern-day address of what was once the Lynton Railway Station Building (and Lanp/Gas Rooms). Any help would be most gratefully received and acknowledged within the new book and I would be happy to send you a copy too.

Best wishes,

Paul. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.233.179.20 (talk) 15:38, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
