Hi Ludston, I am responding to your note on the Damon J. Smith "Articles for Deletion" page. I'm not sure if I'm addressing this properly by writing on your talk page, or if I was supposed to simply edit the page itself. I first would like to address your suspicion that my account is an alias for Smith himself, and I assure you it is not. I met Damon 15 years ago and was impressed by his background. I followed his career and at some point later I started editing on Wikipedia and thought he would make a good entry because of his interesting variety of accomplishments. So I've followed his career over the years and it has been somewhat of my baby on Wikipedia. I may have overshot it by adding him to the list of Jazz Fusion artists, although not everyone compares with Miles Davis, but I hardly think that's a reason to delete his entire page. I've spent years accumulating well over 50 external sources to create the article. I certainly appreciate the efforts we all make to ensure the integrity of Wikipedia, so please let me know if there is something else you think should be done to improve this article. Thank you!
