Zuangua moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Zuangua, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Birth years of late imperial figures edit

I've reverted several of your edits adding a birth year of 420 to some figures in the later Western Roman Empire: in particular those to Glycerius, Anthemius, Libius Severus, and Majorian. I also reverted your edits to Constantius III because they overwrote and contradicted a markup note without providing a citation. I had a look at the relevant sources and I just couldn't find anything to corroborate 420 or 370 as a birth year of any of them. If there are sources I'm unaware of, please do add the dates back with the relevant citations. Winthrop23 (talk) 08:13, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Translation requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from es:El Viso del Alcor to El Viso del Alcor. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. For example: Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, please add attribution retrospectively for that also, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 17:42, 6 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Poor sourcing edit

Howdy. It appears you're repeatedly adding links to a very poor source (Prabook). This site is a user-editable scraper site, that essentially plagiarizes copyrighted material from other sources. In the first instance, at Christian Potenza, the 'entry' is a simple copy of a 2015 version of the Wikipedia article, used without attribution or a valid license. The link you added to Terry McGurrin is the same; scraped from a 2014-2015 version of the Wikipedia entry. Please stop adding links to this site; it is not, in any way, a reliable source, and it is expressly forbidden to link to copyright violations. This is especially important when you're altering biographies of living persons. Thanks.Sam Kuru (talk) 01:57, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Tavern (ceremony), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A missing title error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 03:05, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello. There was more than one error in the citations on the named article.

  • You had three cite book templates that you used code on in such a way that they read as empty. That's been fixed.
  • I fixed the issue with having used the same refname more than once for different references. I fixed the url=value error.
  • And I fixed the mess of red at "Philip J. King. Eretz-Israel: Archaeological, Historical and Geographical Studies." under further reading.

Please consider using the visual editor rather than the code in order to properly format citations.

There was also the issue with the last third of the article being in Italics, which I fixed, but isn't a citation error.

When you see issues like this on pages you are creating, please consider saving the page in your sandbox instead and going to The Teahouse to ask for help.

Thank you. OIM20 (talk) 07:25, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Tavern (ceremony) edit

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Tavern (ceremony), is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Korenya Shingetsuan edit

The article Korenya Shingetsuan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unclear subject and lack of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 08:13, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
