You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Wawawaer. Thank you. I have accused you of sockpuppetry. This is very serious, and may lead to you being desysopped, after you were harassing me on my own talk page. See WP:Don't restore removed comments. Jasper Deng (talk) 02:37, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

You're really not very observant, are you... Go ahead and file the SPI case... and I'll process it for you myself if you like. You're just making yourself look more and more foolish by suggesting that I'm RMHED. ++Lar: t/c 02:39, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
If you do not stop the personal attacks and harassment (which is what you are constituting by saying I am looking more and more foolish), I will make a WQA against you, and if it's extreme, ANI.Jasper Deng (talk) 02:41, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Take a deep breath. Think. Look at what's been presented you. Then draw your own conclusions. Pointing out that you're looking foolish isn't a personal attack. RMHED trolled you, and did it nicely. ++Lar: t/c 02:44, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Babysitting

edit

It's a poopy job but someone has to do it. I'm getting myself into a long, drawn-out argument at WPEQ and related articles with User:Justlettersandnumbers, who is a new user as of about a month ago, but has come up to speed on wikipedia quite quickly. However, we seem to be oil and vinegar, not mixing well. I have no clue if you have any time or interest in babysitting, but the WPEQ regulars can only do so much and I have had it up to my ears with this editor. At the moment, I asked for a block on even my own work at Neapolitan horse due to edit warring between myself and JLAN. So, before things get any crazier, I'd appreciate a neutral admin's eye on this situation;yours or someone else you trust. I know that you are willing to call it the way you see it, and I admit I have not been perfect here. Full disclosure: Yes, I DID get frustrated one day and actually called JLAN a pain in the butt on his talk page and on three other articles. Then I backed off, cooled down and suggested a truce, which held for several days. But now it's getting bad again, and I'd like some cool outside heads to just stalk around over there and at our contribs. I'm feeling very attacked, and my own angry mastodon is thrashing its tusks about. Before I blow my top again, I'd like some cops on the scene. Thanks. Montanabw(talk) 21:10, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Lar! I'll join my voice to that request. In fact I might have made it myself if I had known who to ask. I'm no baby, though, I'm afraid.

I need say no more. I believe the stalking of my contribs just aptly demonstrated the situation. Montanabw(talk) 22:35, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Just noticed...

edit

Hi, it's been awhile since we last chatted. I just noticed that you gave up, at least for now, your status as an administrator and CU (plus some others globally). I of course don't know why but I personally want to thank you for all the time and energy you put into helping others and the project. I hope to see you around and happy editing, :) --CrohnieGalTalk 16:23, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree with Crohnie, you are one of the most common sense editors in this project, it's a shame if we lost you. Secret account 23:57, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Children's Museum Update

edit

Hello!
I wanted to give you an update on the Children's Museum Wikipedia collaboration. You can check out my brief overview in the Children's Museum blog, which includes details on the Apprentice Program project to create five new Wikipedia articles as well as the image donation and use of the new Wikipedia Widget to link the museum's website to Wikipedia.

Last month we completed our first museum image content donation of 30 images. While this seems to be a low number, what makes the donation unique is the curatorial involvement in choosing and vetting the images for their appropriateness and usefulness within Wikimedia (many of the objects are copyrighted toys and other works that have copyright restrictions.) The curators in the collections department were very hands-on in their involvement, and we'll be outlining this process in an upcoming case study. If you would like to help further this process, I'd be happy for you to help disperse the images into useful Wikipedia articles, or let the appropriate WikiProjects know of the new images. Another 30 will be uploaded in the coming month.

In addition to the collaboration with the Museum Apprentice Program students and the curatorial department, another important collaboration was between User:Ealdgyth and the American Collections curators to significantly update the Broad Ripple Park Carousel article. After an impressive amount of time and work, the article has now received Featured Article status. The museum is absolutely thrilled and will now be adding a QR code to the carousel exhibit Carousel: Wishes and Dreams. In the future, more QR codes will be added to the objects that have had articles written by the MAP students. We're excited by the success of this collaboration & will also be writing a case study on the process.

There is now a recurring Indianapolis Update on the newly minted GLAM Newsletter. If you'd like to subscribe to the GLAM newsletter, you can do so here. Thanks! And let me know if you have any questions! HstryQT (talk) 17:49, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
