Catnapping

I kidnapped your kittens. You can have them back for all your userboxes, and $1. ;D Jonathan Q. Arbuckle dammit, get off the couch! 02:01, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Looks like you've just been attacked by Hagger [1] These people really must be jobless, waiting 4 days to get autoconfirmed just to move a page that will be reverted in a few seconds and then earn a block for that. Chamal talk 14:51, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

O_o Yeah, seriously... that really gave me a little pre-Xmas surprise on my watchlist, hahaha. Icy // 17:13, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, if you dont want it to happen again.. go move-protect youre talk pages and userpages... or .. [we] will bring epic lulz. Do you even know who hagger and grawp is? Do you even know who the Avril Lavigne Troll was? Do you know who WoW (Willy on Wheels) is? Do you know who the zodiac troll is? Im afraid you do not... 72.89.207.170 (talk) 15:11, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I kinda agree with him, but pagemove vandalism doesnt really have to affect you in anyway. Not atleast what Hagger did to my user and talk pages. Anyways, i was just stopping bye, in any case of page-moves, WP:RFPP is there for a reason. Well, toodles. M.H.ITrue Romace iS Dead 15:59, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hey, MH. I once had an IP come and impersonate you, simultaneously making personal attacks - somewhere in the archives. Good to hear from you. :) —La Pianista (TCS) 16:24, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for telling me. AAnd that IP wasnt me. Although.. My IPs are all Dynamic. They change everytime. So, umm, my IP range is basically around 72.87.xxx.xxx - 72.250.xxx.xxx. All i can say. I dont have one Real IP though. Cheers! M.H.ITrue Romace iS Dead 16:56, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm not going to protect my pages. Let them do something that they think will really depress us (poor fellows) and get sent on vacation :) Promethean has a nice message for these people, just noticed it. Chamal talk 05:49, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

wow. Happy new year, guys, and thanks. BTW, how do you make subpages? I'd like to learn... singlish_speaker♫ (talk) 21:55, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

To create a subpage of your userpage, at the end of the URL (when you're on your userpage) add "/subpage_name" and go to that page. You can create it from there. Or you can create a link on your page, something like [[User:Singlish speaker/subpage]] or just [[/subpage]] and click on that. Got it. Now I have somewhere to put all my Userboxes. I've done all the readings, what do I do now? singlish_speaker♫ (talk) 23:27, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Wow, that's a lot of userboxes. :) Okay, how about we try patrolling for vandalism now? I'll write something on your adoption page. —La Pianista (TC) 23:32, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Remember this? IT PASSED! I'm so happy my favourite song is a GA.... Oh, and I wanted to ask you this. I seriously doubt it, but I was wondering if I would get GA credit for it. I'm nearly sure I won't, as all I did was a few copyedits and nominated it. TopGearFreak 18:52, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

TPS'ing here... Probably not...but you can say that you helped a little bit in getting it to GA. :) —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 18:58, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it's Bohemian Rhapsody. What about it? TopGearFreak 19:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
(e/c) Lol, I was just about to ask Ed to have a look at that... :D His opinion is better than mine, as I seriously have no clue. —La Pianista (TC) 19:36, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
If you nominated it, it's perfectly fine to put a little sticker on your userpage saying so. {{User Good Article}} says roughly that. After all, if not for your nomination, it wouldn't have passed! –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 20:15, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh, you nominated it?!? Jeez...I feel dumb, and I really wish that I had never learned to skip-read right now... Julian is perfectly right, Top Gear. :/ —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 21:59, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
And the stupid thing to forget to say before?

CONGRATULATIONS TOPGEAR!

Admin

edit

I looked at your edits, and I saw that you had like 19k edits, so I was wondering when you would consider to apply for adminship. MathCool10 Sign! 18:42, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adminship has little to do with edit count. bibliomaniac15 19:35, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Biblio's right - adminship has nothing to do with how many edits you have and how long you've been around. Of course, experience is always a factor, but even if I've been around for several years, I would still have to think long and hard before becoming an admin. It's just not something I would think of doing any time soon.
Thanks for considering, though. It's a great compliment. :) —La Pianista (TC) 20:16, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much! But...what is this for? I often get barnstars right out of the blue, and I would like to know how/if I really deserved them. —La Pianista (TC) 20:17, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Happy New Year

edit
Dear La Pianista,
I just wanted to wish you and your family a happy new year, however you're celebrating it. Whether 2008 was a good year for you, or if it wasn't the greatest year, hopefully 2009 will be better. Cheers, and happy editing in 2009 :-),

HNY from me too. How's the future? SimonKSK 00:49, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks be to both of you, and Happy New Year, too. :) And, unfortunately, I am not clairvoyant, so I cannot predict the future. Perhaps you can? —La Pianista (TC) 02:06, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I can. There's a slight shortage of chairs. ;) SimonKSK 21:59, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Happy new year to you. Looks like I'm not too late, timezone included. bibliomaniac15 03:18, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Happy New Year, Pianista. No fancy templates for me, just a heartfelt "you're awesome". :D Cheers friend, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 03:27, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Happy New Year to everyone! No template from me, either (since, obviously, I have wayyyy more TPSers to spam than I first thought.) :D Just a meaningful "ALL Y'ALL ARE AWESOME" from me. Have a great 2009, everybody! —La Pianista (TC) 04:05, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
For you, and everyone else - thanks so much for making 2008 an awesome year for me. Happy new year! Icy // 05:21, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Likewise, likewise. To all of you, thank you! I'd give you all barnstars if it wouldn't cause a nasty inflation. :D —La Pianista (TC) 05:23, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
And wouldn't you know? It's thirty minutes 'til midnight, and I already hear gunshots. Derned Texans... :D :D :D —La Pianista (TC) 05:29, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
You said that 6 hours after it was 30 min. till my New Year. Did you see Hong Kong's and our fire work display? It was superb. Chubbennaitor 10:11, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, I did not. I was pretty busy that day. But I am so looking forward to the New Year's Concert in Vienna tonight - only one of the best pianists alive is conducting, and it's going to be televised worldwide! :D —La Pianista (TC) 16:30, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

haha... NZ was the first major country to see the New Year, so it was a little earlier than your New year I suppose, especially if you live in the US. singlish_speaker♫ (talk) 22:03, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

US was one of the last. Chubbennaitor 11:22, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ur page

edit

Why was your page deleted? then restored? then protected? Chubbennaitor 10:17, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

.....Lol? Grawp has been attacking her user and talk pages... Him and Hagger, "his twin brother", are here now and then. They're known as page move vandals.. More Proof, look at their contribs. Heres one for starters. Admins delete it so the history will be clean of the edits, but the logs of the user and user talk will be the same. They then restore it, to remove the edit summary from the history.. Go check her history for her userpage. You wont see the edits there anymore. They then protect it so the vandalism doesnt continue. Im sure that the media wiki title blacklist was made because of hagger and grawp. Your Welcome I Guess. M.H.True Romance iS Dead 14:26, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think he deleted it by accident - it's hence been restored, though, so no worries. :) —La Pianista (TC) 02:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
