Peer Review edit

I really like the comparison between the Adidas logo and the Nike logo. It was a unique fact that I didn't realize had occurred; the owner of Nike, Phil Knight was enamored with the Adidas logo. I really like the other connection to Greek mythology. I think if you want to expand your draft, you could focus on the inspiration Adidas and Greek mythology goddess, Nike, had on the formation of the Nike Swoosh. Also, at the end of the history section, I would focus on the moving the dates to a more sequential order. I'd move the 1970's dates before the 1983 date. Another interesting expansion could be in the public identity of how renown the Nike swoosh has become; focusing on the new symbol it has created in modern era. I think you have a great start to this assignment, and you've brought to light a lot of interesting events that led to one of the most recognized logos. ETB44 (talk) 18:38, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review 2 edit

Kyle, It's refreshing to read an article that isn't related to death or morbid subjects for once! I like that you included a detailed history section of how the Nike Swoosh began and the inspiration behind it. I feel like the history of the Swoosh would be what most people who visit the Wikipedia article want to read about. Also, your draft fulfills the Wikipedia tone and maintains neutrality. However, I think you should create more sections. Maybe you can include revenue information, the swoosh in media, and a few tidbits about celebrities who endorse Nike? Aside from that, I think your draft provides a decent foundation for what can become an even better and more informative article. Good job!! Mlgeorge925 (talk) 01:14, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
