Cleaner editing if you use your sandbox

edit

Especially when I started out, I would copy a section into my Sandbox, edit it there, click on Publish changes to see how it would look, then when satisfied copy the entire thing while in Edit mode and return to the original article to replace the section. Needs a bit of extra care if there are references in the section that are also used elsewhere in the article. David notMD (talk) 21:27, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

That's a great idea, David notMD! I'm still considering just editing on the article itself for small edits (spelling, typos), but for larger edits, I definitely think that's a smart idea. Thanks! Kmisal (talk) 12:12, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
When I began, I made multiple errors that messed up referencing. Working that out in my sandbox kept the string of edits out of the articles' View history. David notMD (talk) 12:19, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
