You've already started to touch on some of the Virginia-specific aspects of indentured servitude in North America. I think, to warrant having an entirely new article dedicated to it, that you should expand on this idea quite a bit. See if you can't include specific numbers. For example, during the height of slavery, how many more slaves were there in Virginia than the rest of the South? How might this have impacted the economy there more than anywhere else? Since you're focusing in on Virginia, what specifically makes it stand out enough from the rest of the South to require that it has its own article. Once you've identified that, you've got exactly what you need to be discussing. Yes, Virginia had many slaves, but why does that make it more important?
