Pakhli Sarkar edit

The flag of Pakhli Sarkar is of safavids because that's Our parent kingdom , 2nd the official language was Persian not pashto . Gibari Sultan (talk) 15:55, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Tell me the origin of the Safavid Dynasty? Safavid itself not a Persian Dynasty but a Kurdish origin so what is the link of Kurdish originated empire and Swatis tribe? The origin of Safavid itself is Disputed so how you put a Kurdish originated Empire flage into the Flage of a Sarkar? Pakhal is also a pashto word. Kamal Afghan01 (talk) 17:43, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Persian Pakhli Sarkar edit

First go and read history Don't destroy Swatis history. Read babur Nama ,Our language was Gabari which is dialect of DARI Persian Gibari Sultan (talk) 15:56, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Persian is nothing to do with Swatis. Gabri language is a Afro-Asiatic language not Dari and According to Cambridge press report research paper, Swatis is one of the official pashtun tribe that came from Afghanistan with in 13th century. The basic language of Swati is Pashto not Persian or Dari. The Swatis are mainly found in pashtun Heartland called pashtonistan like swat, Bajour, Mansehra etc. Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine Volume 165 (page 810) mentioned the Swatis as Pathan. Battle of Akora edit

Battle of Akora Khattak is a Sikh victory. Sources like Hari Ram Gupta literally say that the Sayyid's force repullsed. Just because the Sikhs lost more men doesn't mean it's an Afghan victory. Ronnie Macroni (talk) 05:23, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics edit

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

I have provided all the references, and in all references, it was mentioned that Afghans successfully launched military attacks and inflicted many casualties on their enemies. The casualties of Sikhs were 10–14 times greater than those of Pashtuns. The camps were completely looted. I have provided all the references. Where's the issue? @Slatersteven should mention... Kamal Afghan01 (talk) 17:41, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
A case was made on the talk page that there is a different version of the events, that is where we discuss it. Slatersteven (talk) 11:37, 4 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Administrator note I noticed that at Battle of Akora Khattak you repeatedly reverted Slatersteven's edit without responding to their talk-page comments. Please discuss the issue at the article talk-page and reach a consensus instead of simply edit-warring to retain your edit. Continuation of the latter approach is likely to get you topic-banned from this area. Abecedare (talk) 18:44, 2 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

You did not read wp:editwar did you, try wp:brd and WP:ONUS. Slatersteven (talk) 17:34, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Stop reverting without discussion, and make a case at talk. If you revert once more I will report you. Also read wp:minor, your latest revert was not a minor edit, it removed a tag. Slatersteven (talk) 10:01, 7 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also read wp:or, as it seems the source you are edit warring to add back in does not even mention the battle. Slatersteven (talk) 10:12, 7 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Battle of Kandahar (1834) edit

The article Battle of Kandahar (1834) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is already a page for this battle that is much more detailed and reliably sourced at Expedition of Shuja ul-Mulk

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
