May 2010 edit

Welcome, as the statements says above. But please be aware that we do have policies here regarding Edit War, and Original Research. The statement you have added to Companion (Doctor Who) does not have reliable secondary source, and this has been discussed at Talk:The_Vampires_of_Venice#Rory_.3D_companion_.3F. Please also read the policy on sources at WP:PRIMARY. Join the discussion I have mentioned but do not add statements without reliable sources or edit war or you may be blocked. Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did to Companion (Doctor Who), you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. U-Mos (talk) 11:15, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

In a recent edit to the page Kayak, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the article Kayak has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. In this edit your edit summary suggested you were merely changing a spelling, whereas in fact you made extensive changes, most of which had nothing to do with spelling. Adoption edit

I would be happy to adopt you! If you have any problems, questions or anything to say, you can contact me at User:Strdst grl/adoption#Adoptee:Kalbmkms. By the way, I have replaced and sourced your comment on Companion (Doctor Who) (I agree with you, Rory is clearly a companion, they said so in the last episode). strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 15:04, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
