Welcome! edit

Hello, KaiHunter12, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Unknown birthdates edit

Please stop adding "Unknown" to infobox birthdates. Usually the date isn't unknown (surely somebody knows it), and when Wikipedia doesn't know the birthdate we just leave that field empty. pburka (talk) 22:08, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

But some pages, such as Nick Turner don't have a birth date on any source. KaiHunter12 (talk) 23:29, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Then it's left blank. Please read WP:BLP prior to making any further edits.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:33, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's still unknown. Maybe create a talk page for Nick Turner for when he was born. KaiHunter12 (talk) 23:40, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's unknown to us, but I bet Nick Turner knows it. Please just leave it blank. pburka (talk) 03:16, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Ian Harvie. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:14, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Creating new articles edit

Please create an article at Draft:Article title until it is ready for mainspace. Do not create an article with the only content as {{wip}} as you did at Oyalı (sheep). (t · c) buidhe 03:12, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Alex Jurgen edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Alex Jurgen, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a test page. (See section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Jay (talk) 18:53, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

The page should be redirected. KaiHunter12 (talk) 19:46, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Inaki Abad edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Inaki Abad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

Zanaika (talk) 14:25, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Inaki Abad should also be redirected, just how Alex Jurgen was. KaiHunter12 (talk) 14:26, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
If you want to make a redirect you need to include square brackets, like this: #REDIRECT[[Inaki Abad]]. It's also inappropriate for other editors to nominate what are clearly good-faith mistakes. pburka (talk) 15:09, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Done. I wouldn't fault the nominator, it did look like a newbie mistake that had to be deleted. Jay (talk) 15:12, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Just created for redirect. KaiHunter12 (talk) 16:18, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please properly link your redirects with brackets (and accents) while creating them. I have removed the CSD. Padgriffin Griffin's Nest 16:22, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Doing this makes the page redirect to itself. KaiHunter12 (talk) 16:24, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
You need to link to the page you want to redirect to, not the redirect page itself. That is, if you're trying to redirect to a page with accents, include the accents in the link. pburka (talk) 16:40, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Creating redirects edit

KaiHunter12, request you to spend some time and figure out how to create a redirect. You may also go through WP:DIACRITICS for how to tag redirects to diacritics. Even after your redirects are being tagged for speedy deletion and others are trying to correct them, you have created more. Thanks to the others for correcting the other redirects you made. Jay (talk) 17:19, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

My keyboard does not have diacritics. KaiHunter12 (talk) 18:52, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Copy-and-paste the title from the destination page. And if you still can't get it working, don't save the page. You're just creating more work for everyone else. pburka (talk) 23:02, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
KaiHunter12, please fix Josef Vagner. If you need help, message me on my talk page, or you can type {{help me}} here, and someone will get to you. Jay (talk) 03:39, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Fix it by yourself. Or User:Padgriffin will. KaiHunter12 (talk) 20:21, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Josef Vagner should be created by me always. I'm just adding redirects so don't block me again. Listen please. To Bbb23. KaiHunter12 (talk) 14:28, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Creating Josef Vagner is never disruptive. Please let me recreate this because it's for redirects. KaiHunter12 (talk) 14:29, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Creating broken redirects is disruptive. And demanding that other users fix your mistakes is disruptive. pburka (talk) 15:14, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I helped redirects for Safari Park Dvur Kralove, Alex Jurgen, and Inaki Abad. I don't even think there's a redirect bot. KaiHunter12 (talk) 16:58, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
And by the time, Josef Vagner is not totally useless, and anyone other than me should create this during 2025. KaiHunter12 (talk) 17:01, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I think Jay should have made the redirects. We want as many redirects to diacritics as we can. KaiHunter12 (talk) 17:13, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I suspect you're going to remain blocked until you understand that you didn't help: you created problems that other editors were forced to fix. pburka (talk) 19:00, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I think redirects to diacritics is difficult. KaiHunter12 (talk) 19:03, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Your access to edit this talk page may soon be taken away. You obviously didn't agree with Pburka who was trying to help you understand the reason for your block, and help in your appeal. You are being allowed to use this talk page for telling us the mistakes in your editing pattern (trying to create self-redirects for example), and not for telling others what to do. Jay (talk) 18:11, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I want users to redirect to diacritics, that's why I sometimes create self-redirects. KaiHunter12 (talk) 19:00, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
And what happens when I undo a bot's edit? KaiHunter12 (talk) 22:50, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Why did you delete Josef Vagner and block me? I created this so that a user can redirect the page. And Talk:Alex Jurgen I will never disrupt again. KaiHunter12 (talk) 22:01, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your edits have caused disruption that is eating up the valuable time of our volunteers who have to fix your many errors. There is nothing in your appeal that acknowledges the disruption or explains how you would edit differently should you be unblocked. Please read WP:GAB before making another appeal. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

You might think Josef Vagner is useless, but I won't ever disrupt Talk:Alex Jurgen again. KaiHunter12 (talk) 23:25, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:58, 28 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • I'll also note that you were blocked at least twice previously via your IP for this same disruption. This isn't a checkuser note, it's just super obvious looking at your edit history. Not everyone who wants to edits has the competence to do so. Listening to other editors and adapting to our policies and guidelines is necessary, and you don't appear willing to do so.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:26, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
