Moldovan

Hi there. My point with that comparison is that German and Dutch are seen as part of the same dialect continuum i.e., they are essentially the same language. The difference is that the standard versions are based upon two different points along the continuum. This isn't really Romanian and Moldavian's exact situation; their situation is instead more like the situation with Malaysian and Indonesian. They are virtually the same language yet each country declares each variant as its official language. Furthermore, there are some features of Moldovan that are exclusive to Moldova, are there not? Many, if not all, the language articles here on Wikipedia are like that. Why should Moldovan be different? --Chris S. 23:53, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Yes, German and Dutch are different. But they are part of a dialect continuum. For the sake of the argument, let's say that Standard German is on point F on the continuum while Standard Dutch is on point P. However, between those points, now what? Where does German end and Dutch begin? And vice-versa? Because there are parts of Germany which has more in common with Dutch. --Chris S. 00:07, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Moldovan accent

Împreună cu EvilAlex (un tip din Tighina - Transnistria) am creat un articol despre propaganda separatistă a Tiraspolului Heaven of Transnistria. I s-a cerut ştergerea. Te rog ajută-ne să păstrăm articolul, votînd contra ştergerii[1].
