April 2011 edit

This is your last warning; the next time you harm Wikipedia, as you did at Devil's Film with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.  Jackol  ๏̯͡๏﴿ 20:36, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may place {{unblock}} on your user talk page to have the block reviewed. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia.

Request reason:

Hello ! I just noticed that I was blocked from Wikipedia. While I am an official representative working for a company that manages brand names, how can I make sure that our branded products are respected if we can not even edit external links. BTW, some links already on Wikipedia are actually affiliate links that are outdated or even land or error pages. Definitely not a pleasant first time experience to accomplish my responsibilities :-( Jpgammae (talk) 22:02, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Your edits clearly contravene Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest and spam. Correcting articles using reliable sources is one thing, but hit-and-run insertion of links to your own company's website is certainly not appropriate. Stating that your "responsibilities" include editing Wikipedia in the capacity of your work suggests that you will continue to engage in such behavior, and is contrary to Wikipedia's goal of creating an encyclopedia. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
