We at Wikipedia love evidence based medicine. You must therefore cited the best available evidence aswell as write in a consistent format. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. A list of resources to help edit such articles can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. WP:MEDHOW walks through editing step by step. What COI? I am simply citing the contributions of my professor and adviser. He is considered an authority in health care policy and management, so I do not see what is wrong if I edit and cite his scientific works in Wikipedia. My purpose is to prevent Wikipedia from being viewed simply as a collection of of subjective or non-peer-reviewed opinions/findings. By citing this professor (and later, another professor of mine), I am trying to present neutral, objective, peer-reviewed scientific work/evidence to support or qualify certain points made in Wikipedia health-related articles. Of course, I adhere to WP:MEDRS which is why my edits/citations come from reputable medical and public health journals like the Oxford Journal of Public Health, Health Policy, Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health, Health Care Analysis,etc. I am not engaging in any editorial fight nor do I have any COI. Thanks for clarifying your relationship with the author of the publications. I hope you understand that sometimes people come to Wikipedia to push their own work, and this is the only real reason we have given the impression of "ganging up" on you. Please bear with us.

I don't get the feeling you've got a handle on how WP:MEDRS works. Most papers you added are primary research or modelling studies. That makes them primary sources, irrespective of whether they are published in high impact factor peer reviewed journals. For example, we do not add citations to major research studies even from the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet or JAMA. We do rely on the reviews published in those journals, and on textbooks. This is a key difference between an academic paper and an encyclopedia; further information can be found in WP:PSTS.
