Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Reston, Scottish Borders may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Henry McCann

Hello. Noticed you expanded Henry McCann using the fitbastats source. I was aware of that page when I originally created the stub, but Michael Joyce's Football League Players Records book lists two Henry McCanns (both Scottish inside lefts born in the late 1880s) which the fitbastats page appears to run together. According to Joyce, Henry McCann #1 (born 1887 in Stenhousmuir) played for Hibernian then Lincoln (1907/08, 17 FL apps), and the LCFC site says he left Lincoln at the end of the 08/09 season. Henry McCann #2 (born 1888 in Falkirk) played for Birtley, Barnsley (1912/13 1 FL app), Exeter and Bristol Rovers, and this Swindon site puts him at Exeter in 13/14 and Bristol in Sep 14. There's enough difference that I couldn't convince myself they were the same man, so went with Joyce. Do you have anything else that backs up them really being the same person? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 19:35, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

Hello, query regarding Albert Foulds

Dear jmorrison, Can I ask why you changed the entry for Albert Foulds to "Bert Foulds"? On all the programmes and other memorabilia for my uncle Albert he was always referred to as Albert. His autographs, as far as I know, were signed that way as well. That is how he is known and remembered by the family. I'm really interested that there is evidence that he was called Bert. As my wife is very interested in family history, evidence that we never came across for calling him Bert would be of great value to us. In exchange, I could provide more information about him, for example, family information, when he died, etc. Thank you for your help. Jones1901 (talk) 14:54, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
