Old userpage
User:Wizrdwarts was my old userpage, but hten I had my name changes and I would like to delete both userpages if possible. How can I do that? 67.169.56.73 (talk) 22:53, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- Please login as Crazy Fox, and then make the request. Of course, the obvious question is why you would want to do such a thing. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 22:54, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, will do, but the thing is, I've forgotten my password and don't know how to get it back. I have an email associated with the account though. There's no obvious way for me to get my password back. Sorry for all the fuss I'm causing. 67.169.56.73 (talk) 23:25, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- I used the "E-mail new password" button on the login page to generate the following:
A new password has been sent to the e-mail address registered for "Crazy Fox". Please log in again after you receive it. If you clicked the button by accident, or if you manage to remember your old password after all, you may safely ignore the e-mail; your old password will continue to work until you log in with the new one.
- Good luck! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 23:32, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks a bunch! Though I can't find the email new password link on the login page. Another question: where do I make the request to delete my old name? Do I have to find my name change log to prove it or something? Again, thanks for all your help :)Crazy Fox (T|C|E) 23:37, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- I've requested Wizrdwarts to be deleted under non-existent user, I hope that's the right way to do it. In case you were wondering, I've just lost interest in editing under my names and the userpages don't really reflect me anymore. I still make some edits anonymously though. Crazy Fox (T|C|E) 23:42, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see any evidence of a name change having taken place - did you just create a new account? — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 23:49, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Dear Jeff G.
Thank you so very very much for your recent help. I cannot emphasise how much I appreciate your assistance & discretion. I have bookmarked the other links you recommended, and will attempt to rectify the situation myself, however I may need to take you up on your offer of further help. Kind Regards to you and thanks again for your swift co-operation and kindness.
- You're quite welcome. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:05, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

It was a mistake guy, I caught it as you were "correcting" me, I meant to put my signature in the talk page, but you stalkers keep on us so quickly you make it difficult for us to fix our own mistakes, geesh... 68.252.29.46 (talk) 05:52, 1 December 2008 (UTC) p.s. This is why people are wrongfully accused of vandalism. According to guidelines, you are to give the benefit of the doubt, enough time to correct the error before warning, and assume good faith. Keep that in mind, thank you and good night. 68.252.29.46 (talk) 05:58, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- I forgive you, but please don't call us stalkers. We fight vandalism. Lots of it. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 06:00, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
When you catch me as I'm fixing my own error, that's pretty darn close. But whichever, it's over. Just gets annoying when so many people don't use diplomacy first. Bye! 68.252.29.46 (talk) 06:02, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

how is my edit vandalism? Bosnia is not a country until 1992 so saying he is bosnian born is false142.161.180.254 (talk) 01:23, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Was the place that person was born in called Bosnia at the time, even if it was not the country of Bosnia? — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 01:26, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thats stupid. Might aswell say he is a European-born, he was born in europe and its still called Europe right? Or if a spanish person is from Barcelona are we going to call him Catalonian-born? Its just stupid142.161.180.254 (talk) 01:35, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- We should use the smallest placename with a wikilink to describe where anyone was born. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 01:39, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- At the time of him being born the smallest place name would be Yugoslavia. Simple as that.142.161.180.254 (talk) 01:40, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

- If you look at the football player template you will see a spot for city, which is mostar and a place for country, which is Yugoslavia. Thats what i put in.142.161.180.254 (talk) 01:44, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Tragic hero records
you deleted the Tragic hero records page that I created yesterday. It was about a label that has signed several bands that are considered notable by Wikipedia. It has on its roster Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Telescreen, and The Morning Of. I had linked to each of those bands, and tried to link to a website where people from all over the country asked the CEO questions about running his business. If I am linking to that many of the label's artists (all of which are already considered notable), how is it that the label to which they are signed is not considered notable? I am new to Wikipedia, so I apologize for not getting this right at first, and thank your help getting me up to speed quickly. --Mreklis (talk) 14:14, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please consider reviewing WP:CORP and developing an article in a user subpage until the article sufficiently establishes the company's notability. You also may want to call it "Tragic Hero Records" and place it at User:Mreklis/Tragic Hero Records. Thanks! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 04:43, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Alternative Medicine Change
Sorry, it wasn't me who did it. I have absolutely NO interest in alternative medicine of any kind, personally or for an article. Cheers! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.126.251.245 (talk) 21:02, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Sock puppet
You might want to note User:Thefreakjohnson is apparently a just-created sock puppet of User:Chrispole. Thanks. Boston (talk) 06:39, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Done at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Thefreakjohnson two minutes earlier, but thanks for the heads up. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 06:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks and best wishes. Boston (talk) 06:43, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
You must be mistaken
I think you have templated the wrong user. Not only has my edit not been reverted, but it was clearly constructive. Jake Wartenbergtalk 15:50, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, you're right. However, you didn't go back far enough in your first reversion, restoring the offensive statement "This school sucks badly". — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 17:49, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yep. I'm still learning the ropes. Cheers, Jake Wartenbergtalk 18:01, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
The Right Stuffs.
For Jamaica Populations 2008 it 3 million now.
Actually 80% are Black. 10% Mixed. 4% Indian Jamaican. 3% Chinese. 2% White and 1% other.
Jamaica square mile = 4,470 square miles
Kingston population = 900,000 portmore population = over 200,000 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamaica2009 (talk • contribs) 19:24, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Is that info from a reliable source? Can we verify it? Thanks! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 19:49, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Blanking one's own talk pages is not vandalism
WP talk page guidelines clearly state: "Users may freely remove comments from their own talk pages, though archiving is preferred. They may also remove some content in archiving. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. This specifically includes both registered and anonymous users." So please stop harassing the dynamic IP 12.76.xx. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.76.153.143 (talk) 19:25, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Talk pages for talking about IP Addresses are not owned by any user, and especially should not be blanked by users with different IP Addresses at the time. Please consider creating an account for yourself. Thanks! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 19:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- I wasn't referring to a talk page "for talking about IP Addresses," (whatever that is); I was talking about a talk page of an IP address. The guidelines do clearly state that anonymous users can remove comments from them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.76.155.139 (talk) 20:29, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Only the ones they are associated with at the time. In your case at the time you just wrote that, User talk:12.76.155.139. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 20:40, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- You just make up the rules as you go along, don't you? I have a dynamic IP. Every time I log on, I get a new IP assigned. Your rule would not allow me to modify pages that were mine as of a previous login. Absurd! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.76.155.139 (talk) 20:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

- So why do you care about talk pages for talking about IP Addresses you previously used? And why don't you create an account or sign your posts? — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 20:57, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
i appologive if i messed up your page but I dont use this system and all but have recently found that some one falsely used my name as that user name and listed several slanderous things im just trying to get the entire page and username deleted as soon as possible. If you can help me with this process i would greatly appriciate it —Preceding unsigned comment added by Acrane1138 (talk • contribs) 20:59, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- I am sure that there are many people with that name in the world. But anyone slandering should be warned, and if they continue, blocked. Please review Wikipedia:Contact us. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 21:04, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
the issue is that the page was created by old coworkers that are nolonger around and unreachable so i cant confront them directly, I know that the article is specifically about me due to particular names and locations mentioned in the article. I just want to get the thing deleted as soon as possible due to the fact that i could have negitive affects at my job.Acrane1138 (talk) 21:12, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- I see. Please make your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Kenneth Sikes. Thanks! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 21:13, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Am I missing something with respect to your AIV report? I see a quite possibly newbie user trying to create an article on a person of uncertain notability. Yes, he's removed tags, but that's understandable, since I see no individualized warnings or explanations on his talk page. I'm a bit more inclined to counsel you for WP:BITE than I am to find his behaviour unacceptable. Jclemens (talk) 01:39, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- When I warned this editor, they had two recent warnings for removing speedy tags, a speedy notification (for a similar article with a different capitalization that was deleted at 00:42 UTC by Ohnoitsjamie (talk · contribs)), and a recent uw-copyright warning, so I numbered my warning 4 at 01:27 UTC. Later that minute, they again removed a speedy tag, so I reported them. I find it incomprehensible that they failed to read both the speedy tags theimselves and the warnings and notification on their user talk page, or failed to heed them. They have since gone on to re-create the article at 01:40 UTC after it was deleted by Malinaccier (talk · contribs) at 01:31 UTC. They appear to have no respect for Wikipedia's policies, procedures, and legal standing. Perhaps I was a tad too quick to report them the same minute as my level 4 warning, but I think the re-creation justified a report while I was writing this reply. Also, please note this edit and this log. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:09, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the quick revert of the vandalism on my talk page - much appreciated. DuncanHill (talk) 02:56, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:57, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Vanguard Unlimited
I am in no way associated with Vanguard Unlimited. I saw them on Fox News, did some research and wrote the article. Just because you've never heard of them does not mean others have not. They are well known in the Private Military sector! Don't kill my article just because you are uninformed about such organizations.
The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower
Hi, I corrected the spelling of "the Al Quida" to "Al Qaeda" as it should be. People should take the time to use propper spelling and grammer! Especially with a group so famous as this one!
...The Times of India reported that the terror attacks have links to the Al Quida... to ...The Times of India reported that the terror attacks have links to Al Qaeda...
Deshastha Bramhin
Hi Jeff, you notified my IP address talk page of possible vandalism in this edit, [[1]]. Since I was not the user who did this, it was possibly another member of the family, I'm not the one to blame. Yet, I'd still like to clear my name. The edit was merely deleting irrevelant items from the list or relevent people. For example, Ajit Kulkarni, Pratibha Industries; * Mohan Digambar Shirolikar, Lifestyles International, Founder of Shreejal Coconut Water Redefined: A revolutionary, low cost and affordable energizing health drink.
This is clearly advertising. Please reconsider your accusation.
Kindest Regards, Jay Storms991 (talk) 20:19, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- Are those people whose names you deleted not Deshastha Brahmins in Industry? Please explain your deletions in future. Thanks! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 21:49, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Cost
How much does it cost to join Wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.180.222.193 (talk) 03:11, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- There is no cost. You have already edited. You may also create an account for yourself at no cost. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:14, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Apparently, Sebastian Bach has accused him of being gay. That's where the allegation comes from. 129.120.177.60 (talk) 02:52, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- It appears that you wrote me concerning this edit by me, which was a reply to this previous edit by 68.162.139.188. Even if BLABBERMOUTH.NET was a reliable source (it's not, it's not peer-reviewed), even if Metal Hammer did publish the interview, even if Sebastian Bach did make the allegation, the allegation still should not be on Wikipedia unless it is confirmed by a reliable source that we can verify, because it could have devastating consequences for Mr. Loder, and for his friends, family, and co-workers. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 05:14, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
