January 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Scotland. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. May 2021 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Political polarization in the United States, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Please note that Wikipedia goes by reliable sources, and removing reliably sourced content contrary to consensus is generally frowned upon. Casspedia (talk) 13:03, 6 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Important notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

  • Please don't continue to edit disruptively, and please read the important standard message above. Neutralitytalk 16:06, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

June 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Winner 42. I noticed that in this edit to Political polarization in the United States, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. W42 16:19, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello I left messages on a another users talk page. Casspedia. Please refer there for my sources. Here are 2 links https://stljewishlight.org/opinion/who-is-to-blame-for-polarization-in-america/ https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2014/06/12/political-polarization-in-the-american-public/

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Political polarization in the United States, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Considering how in June 2021 you have had 8 reverted edits on the same page, I strongly doubt that your argumentation and blanking is valid. Casspedia (talk) 16:40, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Casspedia, but I posted links in the past. I just posted 2 more please read them. Thank you

Blanking still remains unjustified. Please discuss at the page's respective talk page before making major content removals. Casspedia (talk) 16:43, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I had posted links in the past but my posts were still removed. I will refrain from posting if the links I provide are read. Thank you

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Political polarization in the United States. You have been additionally reported at WP:AIV. Casspedia (talk) 18:32, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:JFerrell007 reported by User:Casspedia (Result: ). Thank you. Casspedia (talk) 16:48, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

June 2021 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Political polarization in the United States. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 18:54, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have provided reference what is the problem with my references?

Edit warring is still unacceptable nonetheless. If you are providing these references, you'll have to discuss them with other editors and find a consensus, before blanking such a significant portion of the page. Edit warring will make it seem that you are pushing your own point of view, and that is highly shunned upon here on Wikipedia. Casspedia (talk) 00:37, 17 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Okay, where can I report that my edits are being removed even after I add references? And where can I discuss these changes with other editors?

Use the article's talk page. It is located at Talk:Political polarization in the United States. Scorpions13256 (talk) 16:20, 19 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Okay thank you. I posted on that page.

Stop edit

Please do not make edits like the one you just did. They serve no purpose for readers, and are hard to distinguish from vandalism. If you keep this up, you will end up getting blocked indefinitely. I will file a request on WP:DRN if you want. Until then, stop doing what you are doing. I agree that the sentence is not WP:IMPARTIAL and inappropriate, but that is no reason to delete it without consensus. Scorpions13256 (talk) 22:48, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Okay, where can I discuss edits then? Whenever I post on a talk page it gets ignored. This needs to be addressed.

Dispute Resolution edit

I'll write a place where we can discuss this tomorrow. I did not know you responded. Scorpions13256 (talk) 04:02, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Honestly, I think it would be best if you just asked a question at the WP:TEAHOUSE. Be sure to link the discussions from the talk page. I was going to file a report on WP:DRN, but I do not feel experienced enough to help you out anymore. I lack experience with complicated topics, and I am not informed on the topic in question I am terribly sorry. I hope the people at the tea house can lead you in the right direction. Scorpions13256 (talk) 18:19, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Also, I have to inform you that I found a source that contradicts what the article says. I'll bring it up on the talk page tomorrow. Scorpions13256 (talk) 18:47, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
It appears that balance has since been added to the article. I guess you got what you wanted. Scorpions13256 (talk) 18:15, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

August 2021 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Roberta Kaplan, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Your edit-warring at Roberta Kaplan to insert a sentence saying she "resigned from the MeToo movement due to accusations that she bullied victims" is inaccurate, POV, and unconstructive. The Time's Up (organization) (from which she resigned) is not the same as the Me Too movement, from which she did not resign. The article currently cites 5 RS on her resignation, none of which support your POV wording that it was for "bullying." HouseOfChange (talk) 17:27, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

September 2021 edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at NumbersUSA, you may be blocked from editing. Jorm (talk) 03:20, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is the issue with my edit?
