January 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Pahunkat. I noticed that in this edit to Akhtarul Iman, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Pahunkat (talk) 20:36, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, @Pahunkat, the edit was a manual revert. If you check the page, content had been added in an improper manner. Hence I was correcting the article. --Indianite (talk) 20:41, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ok, thanks for letting me know - you're welcome to remove the content, but in future please use an edit summary to explain why you are doing so. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 20:48, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Jamia Millia Islamia people, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

March 2021 edit

Your recent editing history at Safoora Zargar shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Vikram Vincent 17:11, 15 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I understand that I should have raised the issue on a talk page before making the edit. I appreciate the warning (just that it appears somewhat threatening in appearance considering that I wasn't repeatedly overriding other edits).--Indianite (talk) 17:41, 15 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

January 2022 edit

Hi, I think you are from India and you are well versed with Indian politics or/and aware of atleast since you participated in that articles. However, moving on to the matter. Some private and one-sided newspapers and their line is not credible at all. Just look at the use of the word "GODI" in headlines and most are from Alt News which is quite famous for its misinformation. These lines need to be removed to prevent people from giving false information and to prevent using or maligning the life image of the person on whom this article is based.Just another Wikipedian editor (talk) 15:41, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of converts to Islam from Hinduism. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Capitals00 (talk) 19:07, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
