Van Halen tours edit

I have noticed you created pages for OU812 and 1984 tours...I've edited the OU812 tour and will edit the 1984 one later. In future would you possibly have the page in the same style as the ones for III/Summer 2004/Fall 2007?

1) Correct spelling errors e.g. "thier album" should be "their album" 2) Include the infobox and category for the bottom of the page 3) Show tourdate information in the standard format I've used for other tours

"09 December, 2007: Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place"

"Day-of-month Month, Year: City, State - Venue"

You've been posting a dash after the year instead of a colon, and a dash without a space after the date.

It's no big deal, I'll sort out any mistakes you make but it'd make things a little easier on me! Thanks(The Elfoid 15:55, 2 September 2007 (UTC))Reply

van halen tours edit

Since you seem to be randomly adding tours to the list of Van Halen tours, could I request if you do anymore you do the Balance/Ambulance tour of 1995 or the first Van Halen tour in 1978? I think having the original would make a good basis for later ones to be compared to, but since we have the 07, 04 and 98 tours already the 95 one would mean we have the four most recent tours in a row recorded. March 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Kiss World Tour 2008. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Although, in my opinion, the discussion was populated enough to allow for a close, removing AfD templates from an article can seriously hinder the ability of a given discussion to solicit opinions from editors and readers who do not typically participate in deletion discussions. Please do not do this again. jonny-mt 16:04, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as World Tour 2008, you will be blocked from editing. This merely duplicates information available in another article, as you were fully aware. "World Tour 2008" could refer to any band touring that year. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:08, 11 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Presto Tour edit

A tag has been placed on Presto Tour, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Wisdom89 (T / C) 19:55, 22 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Scorpions_StingIntheTail.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Scorpions_StingIntheTail.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 04:17, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Something for the Rest of Us Tour edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Something for the Rest of Us Tour, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://tunelab.com/2010/02/15/the-goo-goo-dolls-announce-new-tour. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. Proposed deletion of Sting In The World Tour edit

The article Sting In The World Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced concert tour that is just a list of concert dates that fails WP:CONCERT that could also be a made-up tour since it supposedly ran at the same time as Get Your Sting and Blackout World Tour and have some of the exact same tour dates.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Aspects (talk) 14:27, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
