Request reason:

Hello, User:Bbb23 I am writing to request the unblocking of my Wikipedia account, which was recently suspended due to accusation of sockpupping. I would like to emphasize that I take the allegation of sockpupping very seriously and would never engage in such behavior. The account that was accused of sockpupping with (User: Blasusususu) is a friend of mine, I collaborate with him outside of Wikipedia on messaging platforms. We work together on articles, and I understand why our shared interests and contributions may have raised some concerns. However, I assure you that I have never used multiple accounts to deceive or manipulate the system. Having read Wikipedia's policy on banning sockpuppets, I understand that editing an article with a friend to make it appear more legitimate is a reason for banning. However, I want to make it clear that my friend and I have never engaged in such behavior, and that we have never intended to deceive or manipulate the system in any way. We work together out of a common interest in writing accurate and informative articles. If the ban is justified, I humbly ask that it be lifted with the understanding that I will never again work on an article with my friend outside of Wikipedia. I'm prepared to offer any proof required to establish my innocence. I am aware that sockpuppetry is a serious issue on Wikipedia, and I am happy to discuss my editing history and behavior with anyone who has inquiries. I'm asking that the block be removed since I think it goes against Wikipedia's blocking guidelines. I have always interacted respectfully and constructively with other users on the site, and I have never purposefully broken any rules or community guidelines. I'm hoping you'll take my appeal into account and unban me. Accept reason:

Absent any response from the original blocking admin, I'm inclined to accept on the basis of a clear intent to contribute in good faith and the absence of any significant disruption. signed, Rosguill talk 00:08, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Reminder of ban appeal edit

@Rosguill:

Hello Rosguill,

Thank you for reviewing my appeal and considering my intent to contribute in good faith. I appreciate your willingness to verify with the blocking admin for any additional evidence related to collusion or tendentious editing. If you have come to a conclusion, I would be grateful if you could kindly update me on the status of my appeal.

Once again, thank you for your time and consideration. Iask1 (talk) 22:12, 20 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

October 2023 edit

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Siege of Maghas. If you are interested to know how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements already in Wikipedia – and, if possible, correct them. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with sanctions, which could include a block from editing. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Your hoax "Siege of Maghas" has been deleted.
