Registrations

In this day and age when security risks are high, providing a list of registration plate numbers could be very useful for a terrorist. It is technically as illegal as noting aeroplane numbers. As well as this, it also makes Wikipedia look like a 'anorak's handbook. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a handbook. The same goes for listing addresses and phone numbers in this manner. Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice

Hi,

As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.

We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.

You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.

London, Tilbury and Southend Railway template

Thanks for that. Can't recall why it's on the right but it may have been done to keep it clear of the Romford to Upminster line, so I have moved it to the left and put a spacer line in to stop this from happening. Britmax (talk) 08:46, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Can you find the orginal researches of Docklands Light Railway rolling stock. Can you also find some info regarding the max speed of the rolling stock as I'm having hard time pinning down that information. I have now made some changes to the infobox, by adding a new parameter for annual ridership, and putting a hidden comment in the documentation for "ridership" to show it means "daily ridership". I am sorry, I should have been clearer about this. First of all, there are no fields for the JCR, MCR or SCR president in the infobox template which is why I removed the empty fields in the first place.
