Edit warring against multiple users edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. OhNoitsJamie Talk 02:07, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

November 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Chaheel Riens. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:Mini that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Chaheel Riens (talk) 20:33, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Khaled (musician). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

December 2022 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for habitual edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Hi, I don’t really understand why I have been blocked I haven’t been in an edit war with anyone (or at least if I have been I was genuinely unaware), would I be able to be unblocked as like I said I am a little confused as to why this has occurred I have been trying to avoid conflict with anyone, I would like to appeal to the better nature of somebody and please re-consider my block, also if I have been in an edit war (again I was totally unaware if I was) I apologise for this. –~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:37, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Important notice edit

Hi Hlliwmai,

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You may be blocked from editing without an automatic expiration time, or topic banned from editing about living people, if you continue edit warring about statements about living people, or other disruptive behavior like the incivility at Talk:Mini (Special:Diff/1120936264) mentioned above.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:41, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

(Silly me, Mick Carter and Janine Butcher are of course not living persons. The warning seems appropriate looking at the 22 November 2022 notification above, though.) ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:40, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Clear edit warring. Yamla (talk) 10:38, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hlliwmai, this raises two questions: Have you seen the two red edit warring warnings above? If so, why are you not aware that repeatedly undoing other users' contributions is prohibited and called "edit warring"? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:44, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I find this most unfair and I want the decision to be looked at again I’m NOT happy about this I also find the reason for me being blocked as petty and if I am not unblocked I shall take this to the ARB Com, so I suggest someone re-look at this I have apologised therefore that should be an end to it! Hlliwmai (talk) 12:01, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You are free to waste your time at ArbCom, but a more productive use of your time would be to convince reviewers that you understand why you were blocked and how you would edit if unblocked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:01, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

What is it with this place?? I have apologised what more am I supposed to do??!! I’m starting to get very pissed off with this now I suggest someone unblock me now before I really loose my shit!! Hlliwmai (talk) 13:17, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

And with that, I'm making this an indefinite block. You obviously do not understand, nor care to understand, why you were blocked. RickinBaltimore (talk) 14:14, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
