How am I “not here to build an encyclopedia” when I have not been given the opportunity? I’ve appeared to have been blocked for speedying an article that clearly lacks GNG. Allow me the chance to help build and I will. I am currently reviewing how to participate and I will attempt to diligently participate. Give me one chance please. It seems that you are here to advocate for and represent a former Rhode Island state representative(who does meet the more specific notability definition of a notable politician as a former member of a state legislature) As a public figure it would be hard to argue that the article needs deletion per WP:BLPREQUESTDELETE, but certainly a longstanding article(three years) won't be deleted by author request.
