May 2017 edit

Hello, I'm KGirlTrucker81. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Starving (song), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 13:25, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

May 2017 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, you may be blocked from editing. Raritydash (talk) 19:22, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

User:Raritydash hey um I don't know how to use Wikipedia AT ALL and I'm still new first of all I would like to say I really wanted to edit Lightning (Little Mix song) but it goes straight to the Get Weird album page and also u get the genres wrong on some of the songs so I just change some the genres because I know music so I put the genre in the text to show what one it is so u didn't have to threaten me and be rude so um it would be good if u could help me out and show me how to add a image to the page thanks...

For genres, you would have to provide a reliable source for all edits made even if you did know music. And also for that article that you wanted to edit on has failed per WP:NSONGS, because that is not a single and does not warrant their own article, that's why it has been redirected to the album page, and also for genres, you had removed the sources for the genres, while changing the genres which is important that sources must be provided for genres and please sign your post at the end of your comment with four tildes like this; ( ~~~~ ). Raritydash (talk) 22:53, 13 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

User:Raritydash Thank you thats way more helpful thanks for telling me i still dont know how to use this thing so i needed to know how to do all those things you just told me but most places i edit doesn't need a source so what does that mean? (Hercules123!)

My advise to you is to read Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources, this will explain everything about the genres and the source you need to provide for those changes. Raritydash (talk) 00:34, 16 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

User:Raritydash why do you have to keep targeting me! (Hercules123!)

User:livelikemusic OMG f of im still new to this thing maybe if u help i would be way better at this so if u dont want me to change anything without a f'ing source get of my page (Hercules123!)

As of right now, you are now making personal attacks at me and the other fellow editors who warned you by editing on people's comments on your talk page which is against Wikipedia policy. I would suggest you stop doing this or else this may lead to your block. And again, why do continue to put down genres without sources or discussion? And this is also know as WP:GWAR. Raritydash (talk) 05:00, 25 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

User:Raritydash Why are you bringing other people into this? You just need to be patient with new editors. Also i share this account with four others and they make changes to heaps of other songs as well so if you are talking about other editors as well. It would nice if you tell them to patient with us Thank You (Hercules123!)

User:Raritydash Also why do you think that where changes thing in the music era. That were changing without the account. We only edit with our account so you cant blame us for other peoples mistakes. (Hercules123!) 2nd owner btw

Wait until the song is important enough for an article to be created (e.g. if it has received coverage in multiple sources, has been released as a single). In addition, you should have edited the currently-existing redirect instead of creating a new page with incorrect capitalization. There are several policies and guidelines you should read and understand first, such as Wikipedia:Notability (music) and Wikipedia:Verifiability. Anything that reads remotely like "is features growls and hot motorbike sounds" (especially without a source) is likely to be nominated for deletion for having a completely inappropriate tone. Hi. Please note that not every thing meets the criteria for having a standalone article on Wikipedia. What determines whether a topic gets an article or not is the Wikipedia:Notability guideline. For songs, they should meet WP:NSONGS or they will likely get deleted. Please read through the WP:NSONGS guideline to see if the song you want to create an article about meets it before creating an article. Thanks. Bennv3771 (talk) 10:50, 2 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

You are coming off a very recent block for unsourced content; this should have warned you to not add such content again. You pretty much went on as before, so I have blocked you for a week. Also, the issue of shared use remains. Before your block has expired, you need to state unequivocally here that only one person has control over this account, else I will block you indefinitely. Vanamonde (talk) 11:19, 2 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

User talk:Vanamonde93 Why did u block me! i dont even know how to use Wikipedia they only reason why i signed up was because to change some others mistakes thats all and know im caught up in this mess just because i didnt source some links the only reason why i dont source things is because i dont get how to maybe tell me in person to make it easier im still new you cant expect me to know things (Hercules123!) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hercules123! Please sign your posts with four tildes at the end (~~~~).
You've been blocked because it seems that you don't seem to be listening to the advice of other editors and you keep making the same mistakes such as adding unsourced information. If you don't understand the language used in the notices, please say so. (You may want to add content to existing articles instead of writing new ones.)
To source a statement, find a webpage that supports it. Make sure the website is a reliable source that doesn't make dubious claims too often. There's a button at the top of the normal code editor which says "Cite". Pick one of the templates and fill in the blanks as necessary, and a <ref>...</ref> tag should appear where your cursor is. It should display like [42] when the page is saved.
Also, images on Wikimedia Commons need to be freely licensed; some copyrighted images can be uploaded locally on the English Wikipedia under fair use. Please don't upload fake song covers, because… well, they're fake.

  • Comment That, to me, sounds like the user is attempting to re-direct blame for their edits on someone else, etc. That does not seem acceptable, per Wikipedia's standards. Claiming ignorance is not acceptable, and seems to me, to be the behaviour of not "getting it", and that "my brother did it". User has been pointed out about reliable sources, and has yet to show decent understanding of this and understanding that what they've been doing is wrong and against Wikipedia's intent and policies. Also, might I remind them, again, to sign their posts with four tildes at the end (~~~~). livelikemusic talk! 04:31, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • @Jc86035: No, I don't think I can require them to disclose what those accounts are. I am going to assume good faith for the moment, and accept that only one person controls this account. However, should there be any evidence of account sharing, that would be grounds for an immediate indefinite block. Likewise, this statement by Hercules essentially takes responsibility for all their editing from now on: "somebody else did it" is no longer an excuse. This also does not resolve the issue of unsourced editing. Hercules, please read the instructions about sourcing very carefully, and follow them very carefully; if you resume the same behavior, I will have to block you for increasingly long periods of time. Proposed deletion of Grown (Little Mix Song) edit

The article Grown (Little Mix Song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Song is not notable, does not have significant coverage in reliable sources. Title has inappropriate capitalisation that does not follow WP:MOS, and there is already a Grown (Little Mix song) redirect page, hence this page is not useful as a redirect.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. User talk:SummerPhDv2.0 Excuse me i added a source code, if u haven't seen any other messages it said that i'm trying to test out different sources i was going to remove my edit from the page Little Me (song) but then i came back on to realise that it was already deleted. If you don't want any one to edit the genre line then why can't you do it yourself if your not happy with anyone else editing it, and i would like to add that i have seen countless pages that have genres on flatlist and they don't even use a source for example Soap (Melanie Martinez song) so please don't block me without some help or an explanation remember i'm still a beginner and a young editor (Hercules123!)
The source you cited does not say that the song is either of the genres listed.[1]

If you are unsure if a source is reliable, please discuss the issue on the article's talk page or raise the question at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard.
If you are having difficulties formatting references, please ask for assistance on the article's talk page or by placing a {{helpme}} note on your talk page. Request reason:

So i have been gone for almost 6 months and i have practiced and learnt my lesson. Yes i joined this account with three other friends, one of them was the owner of Musicalnote1 but then i took over that account and same with (b_ball123) I was the owner of all three of those account, Then i got blocked three times until i was blocked indefinitely. I have read most of the notifications that i have missed and apparently i'm the owner of 7 or more other account! which as i explained i am the only owner of three or four, Just to make that clear. So i have come back to ask for permission to be unblocked i have waited and i love contributing to wikipedia i promise that o will do reliable edits, And i have found out what citing a source mean, I hope that my message will be seen soon.

Decline reason:

The latest block evasion and sockpuppetry seems to have been much more recent than six months ago. You should: 1. Wait six months without editing Wikipedia at all, 2. Provide a list of all accounts you have used, 3. Comment on the problems with your edits, beyond the sockpuppetry. Huon (talk) 22:08, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
