Koopalings edit
Hello there, I had to revert your upload to File:Koopalings - New Super Mario Bros U.png. The image is non-free, which means that they must be uploaded in lower resolution according to Wikipedia policy. ThomasO1989 (talk) 17:29, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Is it possible to upload this in a resolution that's higher than the previous one but lower than the one I uploaded? The current one is too small to see anything on. GrampaSwood (talk) 17:31, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I don't think we can use a higher resolution than this. That said, I think we originally used the NSMBWii version that was far less busy and may looks better at low resolution. The change to NSMBU wasn't for a good reason (and the person who did has since been blocked). We could upload the new image and remove reference to the old one. @Sergecross73 to let him know and get his opinion, since both of us are pretty strict about non-free images. - I think either images would be equally okay (or not okay) because they're both non-free images, so may as well go with the one that is easier to see and understand what's going on. I believe the only issue will just be that, with the Koopalings (rightfully) not having their own article anymore, if too many characters get images in the character list, people will probably start trimming them out, and this could get caught up in that. - Come to think of it, it feels weird that the Koopalings have an image, but no other entry in the list does. Maybe we should just remove the image from the article and let it be cleaned up. ThomasO1989 (talk) 20:29, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
