Request reason:

Hello! On the 22nd of July 2010, I has been blocked by "OhNoitsJamie" after my correction of "Moscow" article (reason: Spam / advertising-only account). My correction consisted of adding of the external link to the noncommercial site, dedicated to the unusual monuments of Moscow. This site doesn't contain any improper material and is in full compliance with the subject of "Moscow" article and Wikipedia rules. Perhaps, I was blocked due to the fact that I inserted the external link directly into the article's body, and not into the Discussion page. My claims to "OhNoitsJamie" remain without any response or reaction. In the future I will add the external links only into the Discussion page. Please, unblock me. Thank you. Alexey. Decline reason:

Looks like you added the link to various articles, were told not to add the link, yet persisted in continuing to add the link. Not to mention, your response shows no indication that your behavior would cease if you were unblocked. Smashvilletalk 21:48, 3 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Comment You were given a final warning in February because you were spamming the same links as this IP, which had already been warned about spamming. You ignored the warning and spammed again, which is why you were blocked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:57, 3 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Re: Comment The first time (in February) I have added the external link to the Russian version of the site. I believed that the blocking reason is not English language of the site. Therefore, the second time (in July) I have added the link to the English version of the site. It is not the Spam because the site does not contain advertising, does not offer the goods and services. This site contain only short description of history and locations of unusual monuments of Moscow. Goncharovbkru (talk) 05:04, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Regardless of warnings telling you to stop, you have continued to promote your website on Wikipedia. The content of the website has absolutely nothing to do with your block. What is your affiliation with the site? --Smashvilletalk 14:44, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
The reason I have added the external link the second time is wrong understanding of the warning, not fraudulent intent. Because I believed my mistake is addition of the Russian-language link in first time (On 26 February). When I added the English-language external link the second time (On 22 July) I believed that I have repaired the mistake. I did not ignore the warning, I have misunderstood reason of warning. I promise: 1) add the information on Discussion pages, not articles pages. 2) clear up the warning reasons if those are in the future. I edit the website, but not promote it. The reasons I edited article "Moscow" are a paucity and highly specialized materials of external links in article, and full compliance website with the subject of "Moscow" article.
