Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Josef Greindl has been reverted.
Your edit here to Josef Greindl was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W7t3OUNB_U) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:15, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James King (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bringing in additional editorial eyes

edit

In answer to your question at the bottom of this edit, there are a couple of ways to try to attract a few more editors to an article to resolve an editorial dispute. As MastCell notes, Wikipedia does not tend to do a terribly good job distinguishing between "supported by the preponderance of sources" and "supported by the most tenacious editors". There are a few things you can try, as outlined at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. For this article, I would start by making a short, neutrally worded, descriptive post to Wikipedia:Fringe theories/Noticeboard or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine; editors interested in these sorts of topics often check these pages (and would probably appreciate your help on one or more open threads while you are there). Several people seem to be watching the article at the moment, but we shall see what happens over the next few weeks and months. Happy editing, - 2/0 (cont.) 11:38, 10 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Black Sunday (1977 film), but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 13:17, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Doniago. I wanted to let you know that I undid your recent edits to the Black Sunday (1977 film) plot summary because they added a significant amount of unneeded detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 13:17, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

United States Pro-life Movement

edit

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SingingZombie, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Juno (talk) 23:36, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

User blocked

edit

I can never be effectively blocked from Wikipedia. I live in a large city with thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of hot spots and internet cafes from which I can create virtually unlimited sock-puppets or edit anonymously.

If you want me not to edit Wikipedia, your best bet would be to ask me politely to refrain from doing so, and to try to persuade me to honor your request. I'm a pretty reasonable person, maybe persuasion will work! Goblinshark17 (talk) 03:49, 3 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
