Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to The Sufferer & the Witness, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 22:48, 27 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at The Romance of Helen Trent (album):. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Arctic Kangaroo 03:46, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

My apologies for this rollback. I was going over the page history and accidentally clicked the undo button. Ajaxfiore (talk) 18:49, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Rise Against, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 19:15, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Rise Against. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 19:22, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 19:22, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Cancer Bats, you may be blocked from editing. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 22:36, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I noticed you've been on Rise Against articles adding a genre called post-hardcore. Although the genre didn't have a source. Just in case you didn't know, to cite a source, simply put the link, title, publisher, etc in this: <ref>{{cite web |url= |title= |publisher= |accessdate= |date= }}</ref>

The genre was unsourced and also conflicted with the neutral point of view, those type of edits suiting your own view is considered genre warring, unfortunately we can't do that. Go on google and search "Rise Against post-hardcore review" etc and you can find some sources. But don't revert edits removing the unsourced genre otherwise that's vandalism (I think) and can lead to an edit war.

Allmusic tags are unreliable, because they add any genre randomly, only their REVIEWS are reliable. Also don't remove sourced genres with unsourced genres. To add post hardcore please find a source with the review describing it post hardcore. Please see WP:GWAR

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at Birthing the Giant, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:58, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Melodic metalcore. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. I call the big one bitey (talk) 14:49, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  – Connormah (talk) 19:22, 21 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
