Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited List of prisoners released by Israel in the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yizhar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dick Durbin

Why do you feel you have the right to take out a disputed section on Dick Durbin's House of Representative's Section? What relevance are your quotes to what you say? --99.112.186.58 (talk) 17:36, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Thanks

The Christopherson biography will be added to his article soon, but I have a little work to do in real world next week. --Stone (talk) 20:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Resource requests

Hi! I'll take a look. For the old ones, if I haven't received them, I'll state "Not received yet"

The newest request, I have received. I haven't finished processing all of the data into articles. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:03, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Berkshire School

Inquiring as to your flagging of the following page as a potential copyright violation. * Berkshire School (history · last edit) from http://www.berkshireschool.org/page.cfm?p=358. The content on the referenced page is public domain info on the school's history page. Berk BWS (talk) 15:19, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

I've responded at User talk:Berk BWS. GabrielF (talk) 15:51, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick response. Do you have any insight as to what phrase was lifted from the Berkshire School history page? The report seems to indicate that it's the words Berkshire School, but that doesn't make sense. As a representative from the school in question, I'm eager to resolve the issue, but the best way to proceed is not clear to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Berk BWS (talkcontribs) 15:56, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Copyvio template

It would appear I may have inadvertently led you wrong about this. Sorry. See WT:CP, I would add that normal usage is as I suggest, the editor who coded the template to include the duplication detector obviously thought that was how it should be used and personally I disagree with the reasoning for not using the template like that. Anyway you've started some discussion. It would appear that the best answer will definitely be to get the duplication detector to use the version before the template is added and I'll work on that soon. Dpmuk (talk) 17:01, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Not a problem. That template is slowly evolving and slowly getting better. By posting to my page you've reminded me thathe way I ended up sorting it does work for existing taggings as well. If you go and click on the duplication detector report at Berkshire School it now shows why there's a problem! Dpmuk (talk) 21:14, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Kheel Center

Hi there, Thanks so much for your note about the copyright issue with the entries I created on presidents of the ILGWU. I haven't logged in in a while, so I'm just seeing it now. Is it possible to prevent the entries I've written from coming down, while I'm working out the question of donating the text with the institution where I work? Stomach bed

I wonder why this body part or anatomic feature is deserving only of a Wiktionary definition, but not an encyclopedia article? There appear to be numerous works in anatomy over the last 115 years or so with substantial coverage of it, including its functions and pathology. Edison (talk) 00:07, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

I am not that into anatomy or biology, but am interested in the history of science, and found where Birmingham introduced it and demonstrated some preserved specimen in 1897, gaining recognition that it was "real" somehow, such that it is still discussed in medical books. One alternative would be to merge it into the article for the body region. With anatome, there is also the question of related structures in other species, and categorization. It should be legit to bring in the 1897 illustration or one from 1911 Britannica. Thanks for your efforts to improve the 'pedia! Edison (talk) 15:15, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
