Libelle of Englyshe Polycye

Hi, I have edited the article on the temporary page as requested. The Brepols article you have identified as the source for some of the passages is actually "Bureaucratic Verse", which has been cited wherever the Wikipedia article refers to it. I have rewritten the paragraphs in question and duly identified the source.Farabay (talk) 06:13, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

GabrielF, can you look at and approve the revised article?Farabay (talk) 09:38, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

Highbeam

Thanks for the copy/paste from Highbeam. Yes, I was aware of the Highbeam offer, and also of the horrendously long list of people asking to be considered. Given the numbers, I really couldn't be bothered. It is not that often that I come across a need for info hidden behind that particular subscription service - I don't think that it covers Indian newspapers, for example. Now, if there was ever a JSTOR arrangement then put me top of that list! Thanks again. - Sitush (talk) 19:45, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Thank you!

Can I repay you for getting me the article by having your baby for you?--Mr Fink (talk) 23:29, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Mel Sembler

Greetings. Thank you for your input on the Mel Sembler article. While I appreciate your BLP concerns, you seemed to fail to note that the section you deleted cited 6 different newspapers artcles, including articles from the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Times, and Huffington Post, not just the one you mention on the talk page. I recall at one point also seeing a writeup in the washington post about the incident, and time permitting I will likley be adding that cite in the future as well now. This was clearly a public controversy at the time and therefore not a WP:BLP issue. It is the controversy and coverage that is being pointed out. The fact the Mr. Sembler had ED and a pump is an incidental but neccessary part of said section. Accordingly I have reverted your edit. Snertking (talk) 06:35, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

As an FYI, I have now added the cite from the washington post article as well. Thank you for forcing me to take the time to do so.Snertking (talk) 08:26, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

I also note that you deleted well sourced information about litigation against the Straight program which Mr. Sembler founded, as well as other things such as reference to the doonesbury cartoon lampooning Mr. Sembler without noting why you feel that such information raises BLP issues. Please feel free to discuss further with me via my talk page Snertking (talk) 06:45, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

Greetings. Thank you for the changes. Would you like a picture? The picture you are adding - we do not have copyright to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NatHandal (talkcontribs) 02:19, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

A beer for you!

Many thanks for the journal article on Maya mirrors. Have a beer as a small token of gratitude! Simon Burchell (talk) 20:49, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Libelle of Englyshe Polycye again, I'm afraid. Sorry, but it's been a week and the fixed article is still in quarantine. Shall I keep waiting?Farabay (talk) 20:59, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

A beer for you!

Must be time you had another one! Thanks again, GabrielF: for reasons I won't bore you with, your timing there was exquisite. Nortonius (talk) 20:21, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Hello again GabrielF, maybe I'd better not get you another beer quite so soon, right now I'd rather offer a full English breakfast! You certainly deserve it after typing all that stuff from the Sandwich book, excellent work on including the footnote, too! About the Poll Tax book, that's safely downloaded and backed up now, so you can take down the link. It is complex stuff, I had the (mis)fortune to work with many of the original documents on which the book is based myself, upwards of 10 years ago, and I can assure you that you('ve) got the right stuff, brilliant. Thanks for including the preliminary details, it was a useful reminder. And actually there was more than I expected – I don't know if you noticed the reference to the 1381 returns having been burned by "the commons", that'll be the Peasants' Revolt!

That reminds me though: I wonder, might I try your patience and ask for a bit more from the same book?! Having seen the book I can now offer some page numbers to try... This would be for places in "Ringslo(w) Hundred", especially "St Nicholas-at-Wade" and "All Saints": these names might be given as just "St Nicholas" or "Shuart" respectively, though All Saints/Shuart might not appear at all. Page numbers would be around 394–5. Also, I notice on p. 387 Fenwick mentions a document E179/225/10 listing men and women of the Cinque Ports in "Cornilo and Ringslo hundreds": she doesn't say there whether or not she's included the details in her book, but if she has, and you can find and scan this list of people's names, that would be the cherry on the cake! Thanks again for all your trouble, you already have provided me with some fundamental sources for stuff I've added to WP; sorry to ask for more, it was bloomin' obvious and I should've thought of it before. I wouldn't blame you one bit if you felt you'd done enough, you have! :o) Nortonius (talk) 09:39, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Libelle of Englyshe Polycye

You listed this at WP:CP a few weeks back since then it has been G7 deleted and then recreated by the same author but the new version is, in some ways, significantly different to the original. Unfortunately I don't have access to the source so if you do have access would you mind taking a look at the new version and seeing if you still have concerns. Source request

Are you able to provide me with a copy of this book, specifically the section on Deir Yassin which I think begins around p.343. Thank you

Disambiguation link notification for April 30

Hi. When you recently edited Boston Public Schools, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Hyde Park High School and English High School (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
