I Choose You (Keyshia Cole song)

edit

Hi Fullmoon211

I see you were having some problems with your GA nomination being removed from the list. The reason for that is that you had used the wrong template at Talk:I Choose You (Keyshia Cole song) in nominating it. There is a bot which maintains the nominations list, but it assumes that the {{GA nominee}} template should be present on the talk page, and it removes entries if it doesn't find them. I've now fixed it up for you so hopefully all is well. Cheers  — Amakuru (talk) 11:56, 8 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Oh thank you so much for helping me that. I was really confused on how to add the template though but I'll make sure I'll do it correctly next time. Fullmoon211 (talk) 13:17, 8 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Woman to Woman cover

edit

I stated in my edit summary, "rv contested file change without consensus per WP:BRD back to preferred standard, original version, if still thought wrong, the standard, original version should be taken to WP:FFD.", which was the exact same edit summary I used on October 3, 2021 ([1]), October 9, 2021, ([2]), and October 18, 2021 ([3]). The deluxe cover file was then deleted for being orphaned because you did neither of the two next steps afforded to you. Because you made the same contested file change, I reverted it with the same edit summary and yet once again you reverted without an edit summary using undo (which needs to have a reason otherwise you are calling it vandalism, which it is not) without taking either of the next two steps to address the problem. Per WP:BRD, now that a discussion has been started here, a consensus should be reached here, you could start a discussion at the article's talk page to try and reach a consensus or you could take the standard cover file to WP:FFD. Reverting without a consensus could be seen as WP:Edit warring and could lead to you getting blocked from editing. Aspects (talk) 23:44, 17 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Again, you need to start a discussion at the article's talk page to reach a consensus or take the file to WP:FFD. To revert without explanation, you are edit warring. When you hit the "Undo" button it states, "If you are undoing an edit that is not vandalism, explain the reason in the edit summary. Do not use the default message only." You are editing in bad faith by removing the fair use template from the file page and then adding a proposed deletion that states "No content for image and its not being used on any articles." when you removed the content for image from the file page. You are also editing in bad faith by changing the orphaned fair use date, [4], so that the file is deleted after one day instead of the seven needed for orphaned fair use template. You took the article to become a Good Article nominee with the original cover version and it became a Good Article with that image in the infobox. If you thought the newer version should have been used, why would you have the original cover version in the article when you started the nomination? If you continue to edit in bad faith and edit warring, you could be blocked from editing on Wikipedia. Aspects (talk) 00:04, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 05:17, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

July 2023

edit

Your recent editing history at Woman to Woman (Keyshia Cole album) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You and Aspects have been going back and forth over this since 2021. It's time to discuss the matter on the talk page or face the consequences of your actions. plicit 00:02, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Do not make contentious reclassifications of releases

edit

If you wish to move Jaguar (EP), you can start a move request. Anything less than a move request, where you seek the opinions of other editors, will be reverted. Do not make contentious reclassifications when the article has been located at Jaguar (EP) for three years [5]. Also, the lead literally says "Monét initially intended Jaguar to be a trilogy of EPs". Therefore, how is the first installment not still an EP? You've been here for two years now, you should know better than to make unexplained edits. Do not edit war or an administrator will be informed. Thank you. Ss112 03:29, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Trout

edit
  Whack!
You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something silly.

For blanking and then proposing for deletion a page with no obvious problems—Lady London. But you’ve fixed it so yay. AriTheHorse 19:09, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

@AriTheHorse:, I was actually trying to make a draft of the page instead because I felt that I should have created the article with the complete information listed instead of submitting an undone version. I knew that it couldn't be deleted by me since I don't have admin permissions so that's why I blanked it and proposed it for deletion. Despite that, I'll just try to continue editing. Oh I see. Sorry. Unfortunately i dont know how to remove the trout… but you can always feel free to give me one in return. AriTheHorse 22:18, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's completely fine. Fullmoon211 (talk) 23:20, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:56, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Keyshia Cole - Woman to Woman (Deluxe).jpg

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Keyshia Cole - Woman to Woman (Deluxe).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
