Links to disambiguation pages edit

Hi Fdssdf,

Thanks for all your contributions to NHL season articles. However, I've noticed that some of your work causes links to disambiguation pages, like here. This seems to be due to NHL players which have common names. Just a heads up, and thanks again for your work. Natg 19 (talk) 06:18, 2 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Greetings, @Natg 19: I once was more vigilant about cleaning up DAB links, but when I saw there was a rich cast of editors who specialize in that, I decided to let the pros handle it. Cheers. Fdssdf (talk) 00:09, 3 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

NHL playoffs template edit

I know that I'm being a stickler (and probably a few other choice words), but your formatting of the templates is awful. Going forward all you need to do is fill out the empty sections of the template, all of the other work has already been done. Please do not forget to add shots and saves by each goaltender's name, it's listed in the box score.

I do need to start seeing correct formatting from you now, including dashes. Study the 2017 article because that is the standard that we have been using. Deadman137 (talk) 01:48, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, @Deadman137: OK I'll update my template save. Cheers. Fdssdf (talk) 04:18, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hey again, @Deadman137: The changes you made to the initial game of 1977 broke the table. I couldn't figure out how to fix it, but maybe you can. Cheers. Fdssdf (talk) 04:31, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I figured out that problem, someone ran a script trying to fix other dashes and it changed what had been previously entered. We do have to use 1-1-1 but on the other side of the = we have to use –.
You no longer need to add the home parameter to the template, if it wasn't entered it's because the template already defaults to the needed set up (going forward if you find it anywhere else, do not change it, it's there for a reason). You also don't need to change the arena information or rearrange it; it's set that way with stadium2 first because we changed the way that we use the template from what is was originally designed for. Deadman137 (talk) 02:17, 29 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
OK, Deadman137. However, for the preliminary 3-game series, the home parameter may be necessary (at least, it has been for at least one series). Cheers. Fdssdf (talk) 02:38, 29 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
