Archiving old talk matter

edit
  • I notice that at least twice you have blanked your talk page to clear out old matter. It is possible instead to move the old matter to a talk-archive page. Do you want me to do this for you? (I am an administrator and thus can temporarily delete and undelete pages to split their histories.) Anthony Appleyard (talk) 07:25, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • If you do it for me, it would be great! Thank you. --Enerelt (talk) 08:05, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
  •   Done I split the history wherever you blanked it, with the blanking edits as the first edits in each archive, so that the full text just before it was blanked is the last (and thus visible) edit of each archive. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:12, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much. --Enerelt (talk) 06:21, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • To archive your talk page, do this:
    1. Let n be one more than your current highest archive number.
    2. At the top of your talk page, change {{archives}} to {{archive}}
    3. Move your talk page to User talk:Enerelt/Archive n
    4. Go (in edit mode) to page User talk:Enerelt, which should now be a redirect to your new archive page.
    5. Replace that redirect statement by {{archives}}
    6. Cut-and-paste or copy-and-paste from the new archive page to your new blank talk page, any permanent header matter that your talk page should have.

Goryeo and the Mongol Empire

edit

Hello Enerelt. I saw your reversions to the Mongol Empire article and was wondering if we would be able to discuss this dispute in a civil manner. I am not a Korean nationalist who is out to distort history; I am merely acting on historical fact. Goryeo was never under the direct control of the Mongol Empire, although it was a vassal at one point. However, vassalage does not equal control. Sure, there was definitely some political manipulation that went on in the Goryeo court due to Mongol influence, but Goryeo retained its sense of identity throughout the entire Mongol Empire period. Even though there was a loss of territory to the Mongols, Goryeo's territory was never completely taken over, there was always a Goryeo king, and again, the people under Goryeo's rule always thought themselves to be subjects of Goryeo, not the Mongol Empire. I kindly ask you to keep these points in mind and perhaps do a little research about Goryeo before you make your next edit - I bet that it will be an enlightening experience. Flamarial (talk) 08:34, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello Flamarial!, Ok. Since the Koreans think like that, I would like to make some changes.

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Enerelt, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

The next time, pls think about it.

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Enerelt, you will be blocked from editing. A case has been raised, and will be considered. If the case is groundless, it will be dismissed. As it stands, the case raises some questions that need to be answered. Blanking an open case is a pretty sure fire way to convince people that something untoward is going on. Mayalld (talk) 10:02, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mongol conquest of the Song Dynasty

edit

Hello. Thanks for adding this link to History of the Song Dynasty, a Good Article of mine. However, I have to ask you: why does the Mongol conquest of the Song Dynasty not have an introduction summarizing the article? Also, it would be nice to know from which sources you got much of this information from. As of the moment, you only have three inline citations. In any case, thanks for sharing the new link. Mongol invasion of Khwarezmia

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mongol invasion of Khwarezmia, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Mongol invasion of Central Asia. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:29, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Qubilai Setsen Khaan.JPG

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Qubilai Setsen Khaan.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:46, 28 May 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ╟─TreasuryTaghemicycle─╢ 13:46, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Mongol Empire in 1259.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Bkell (talk) 04:12, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you created this map yourself, please choose a free license and tag the image with the appropriate tag (or choose to place it in the public domain with the {{PD-self}} tag), so that the copyright situation is cleared up. Please let me know if I can help or if you have any questions. —Bkell (talk) 04:18, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Temple:Post imperial Mongolia

edit

A tag has been placed on Temple:Post imperial Mongolia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at Temple:Post imperial Mongolia

edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Temple:Post imperial Mongolia. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 08:04, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I moved this to Template:Post imperial Mongolia. Let me know if this is not what you want. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 08:12, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Qasar (disambiguation)

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Qasar (disambiguation), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unnecessary disambig page, article it was mainly created for has been deleted and "Qasar" is already a redirect to "Jöchi Khasar". Someone searching for "Quasar" is very unlikely to end up here.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Stop your tendentious edit warring and POV pushing

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mongolian Empire. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing.

You are making yourself very incredible. I find so irony of receiving the warning after reverting your POV pushing campaign and endless edit warrings with Korean ediotrs. Just look at the history of Mongolian and Goryeo related articles, you're the very person who should've received the warning and reported to AN3 given your tedious edit warrings all over the place for a long time. Don't forget that WP:3RR is not immune for your edit warring, so if you continue pursuing it, you're responsible for the consequence.--Caspian blue 02:43, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

In fact, you made 4 reverts in the 24 hours (6 reverts in two days). Those are not the same reverts on same edit, but reverts are reverts that you can not escape. If you do not self-revert yourself, I have no choice. Behave wisely. Regards.--Caspian blue 03:04, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK, I respect wikipedia's policy. But it is not fair that you only warned me.--Enerelt (talk) 03:29, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Look, do you already forget about your behavior for giving me the absurd warning in the situation? While I gave you the legitimate 3RR warning to prevent you from 3RR, you violated it anyway. Since you said you "respect Wikipedia policy", you should revert your edit not to be blocked for 3RR violation--Caspian blue 03:44, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
