Speedy deletion nomination of List of Ron Baron Investment Conference Entertainment

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of Ron Baron Investment Conference Entertainment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  GILO   A&E 17:26, 15 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

My account appears to have been hacked. I did not edit the suspected page. Please unblock. I will change my password

Decline reason:

I see no evidence that this account has been hacked. The technical match between this account and the others is very clear, though. —DoRD (talk) 13:18, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

It may have been a someone else editing Wikipedia at my work IP (Northrop Grumman); I did not edit that page in question and have a long track record of abiding by wikipedia rules, please reconsider

Decline reason:

You seem to be claiming your account has been hacked. If so, note that we do not unblock compromised accounts. See WP:COMPROMISED. If this isn't your claim, you are very welcome to clarify your claim and request another block review. Yamla (talk) 14:32, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I did not edit the page in question. If it was from the same IP that I have used, it may be a work IP that was edited with a different account or edited anonymously. The work IP can be blocked. I do not believe they were logged in as me. As I did not edit that page, please do not block elster000. I have made many positive past contributions to Wikipedia, including Notable people from Silver Spring and Little Royal's page. Although I will abide by your decision, I feel I am being punished for something I did not do

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 19:58, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I edited a page at a Starbucks with a shared IP address, per previous review, User Vanjagenije states "I see no direct behavioral connection between this account and other confirmed accounts" You are punishing someone who is innocent and there are positive contributions I could be making. Thanks in advance

Decline reason:

A non-checkuser made that statment. Checkusers have checked and re-checked this account and made it clear there's a connection. If you're going to be unblocked you're going to have to take the standard offer. - The Bushranger One ping only 03:16, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
