@0mtwb9gd5wx, are you familiar with m:WikiCite? The mw:Citoid service in VisualEditor uses Zotero, which is an external/third-party system. Also, anyone who wants to talk about metadata should probably be talking to Andy Mabbett. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 21:34, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
